Mac Scorcher

What a perfect name for a summer shade, Scorcher! Luckily for me it isn't that hot where I live right now which is kind of surprising! I got this polish during my San Diego trip at the beginning of June. I tried once before to swatch it but I couldn't get it to photograph as well as I would like so I never posted it. Now that I am getting the hang of taking swatch pictures I decided to give it another go.

I love this shade, the polish was on the thin side but that isn't anything I can't deal with. I thought this was a neon when I first got it but it's definitely not, it is pretty blinding like a neon but it doesn't dry to a satin matte finish. When I tried to swatch this before I didn't use a white base and it took a lot of coats to build up the polish to a color I was happy with. Because of that experience I decided to layer it over white this time, the difference is like night and day!

I have on 2 coats of American Apparel- Cotton as a base and 2 coats of Mac-Scorcher layered over. 1 coat of Seche Vite to top it off.

Picture is in the shade, the sun pictures were a hot mess. I won't blind you with those haha
