My first Barielle polishes!

Happy Saturday! Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? Me, nope! That's the way I like it, plus I'm so broke I couldn't do anything exciting if I wanted to lol. I blame my brokeness on Zoya and Deborah Lippmann *shakes fist*. I'm thinking of organizing and counting my stash...I think that will be painful but fun!

I bought my very first 6 Barielle polishes a couple weeks ago, they were having an awesome buy 2 get 1 free sale and 20% off, what a bargain. There were some shades I had my eye on for a while, so I was excited to finally try them out! Unfortunately as I mentioned yesterday Falling Star didn't make the trip too well :( so that swatch will be coming later, whenever I get it! I have to say it again, Barielle has amazing customer service. When I emailed late Thursday night about the Falling Star tragedy I expected to get an answer sometime next week. That was not the case, when I woke up Friday morning there was a friendly response waiting for me. Jessica, the Barielle rep, was even nice enough to ship my new bottle USPS instead of Fed Ex like it was sent the first time. My Fed Ex driver sucks, I blame him for what happened.  He didn't deliver until after 8pm and he THREW the box at my house, didn't ring the door bell or anything. I only knew it arrived when the box bounced off the house and my dog ran to the door to attack the noise lol. I hate Fed-Ex...ugh

On to talking about the pretties! I noticed once I opened the box that I seem to have bought a lot of similar colors, I have been on quite the gray toned kick lately and all 3 of these polishes have that quality to them. The formula was great, 2 coats for full opacity on each. June Bug was a little on the thick side, I'll probably have to thin that one a little for next time I wear it.

First up, U-Concrete-Me. The perfect gray, and it really does look like concrete when it's wet. This color is from the All Lacquered Up collection that came out last year. It's one that I have been lemming! This is 2 coats of Barielle- U-Concrete-Me and 1 coat of CND Speedy

Putt-E-On Me, a mushroomy purplish gray....awesome! Another I had been lemming from the All Lacquered Up collection. I love love love this color, it looks like one of those colors that would be flattering on a variety of skin tones! This is 2 coats of Barielle- Putt-E-On Me and 1 coat of CND Speedy.

June Bug, a dusty light blue toned gray with a nice aqua blue shimmer and sparse fuchsia glitter. Holy Cow! This looks like something I would try and Franken, I mean that in a good way. This was actually not one I had seen before browsing the Barielle site, not sure how I missed it because it's great! The shimmer and glitter is very subtle, could be a good work color for people who need that kind of thing. Luckily for me my workplace doesn't care what color my nails are! Like I mentioned before, the formula was thick but nothing that can't be fixed with a little thinner. This is 2 coats of Barielle- June Bug and 1 coat of CND Speedy. First picture is in the shade and is color accurate to  how this color looks on me, the second is not color accurate...it was with flash to show the awesome shimmer!
