Essie- Masquerade Belle + Turkey Day Mani

Good Morning! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US! Hope you are all spending the day with the people who mean most of you! I'm about to leave to go over to my Aunt's house, I can't wait for dinner tonight! mmmm haha. This post is going to be short on words but long on pictures! First up is a swatch of Essie- Masquerade Belle. This polish is from the Winter Collection Essie just put out, and I love it! Masquerade Belle is a vampy red wine color, I thought it wasn't going to be quite as dark as it ended up being but it worked out for the best for my Turkey Day mani which you'll see below. The formula was fantastic! This is 2 coats (sorry for the dry cuticles today, ick...I know haha)

Now for my Turkey Day mani...Essie- Masquerade Belle topped with 1 coat of Maybelline Colorama- Flames of Amber. I was DYING to get my hands on some of the awesome Colorama polishes but never could find any until a few weeks ago when I stopped by a Big Lots store and found the freaking motherload of them and for really cheap. If you're looking for these and have a Big Lots store near you, go in and see if yours has them too!

  1. Flakies look really pretty on dark polishes, I like this manicure a lot=).

I didn't know that colorama has flakies to *blush*

  2. ooh this look amazing! it's so weird too. i had a dream last night that i had painted my tonails with a flakey that looked like this. so shimmery.. haha
such an addict i dream of np

  3. I've checked my big lots a few times and they still don't have those polishes. :(
And it looks so lovely on you!

  4. The polish on it's own is nothing special I think, but I loooove this with layering! Looks great!

  5. Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!
