Gosh Holographic!

Happy weekend! I went polish shopping this morning, found a few discontinued China Glaze polishes. I usually have really terrible luck with finding good stuff (I'm looking at you holo version of My Private Jet) but I lucked out today! I got China Glaze- Orchid Shadow, First Light & Vampy! Can't wait to try them out!

Today I am wearing Gosh Holographic, a MAJOR lemming of mine. I recently got it in a swap with Rebekah over at For The Love Of Nails! Check our her blog if you haven't before! I was SO excited for this polish, I have been wanting a holo like this since the first time I ever saw a picture of one. It's like a rainbow of awesomeness melted onto my nails, I can't stop staring at them! Application was a little tricky, I found out fast going over a spot twice while the polish was still wet was a bad idea!

This is 2 coat of Gosh- Holographic, no topcoat (it looked funny when I put a topcoat on the other hand)

Misa- Shop Till U Drop

Happy Friday! Even though I only worked 3 days this week I am so ready for this weekend! It also happens to be my Dad's birthday today! I got him a Nook e-reader thingy so he can read on that instead of a big thick book while he rides the train to work in the morning. I'm just hoping he can figure out how to use it now!

Today I have on my very first Misa polish called Shop Till U Drop. What a name, it's like it was made for me...I think it would only be more appropriate for me if it was called "Shop Till Ur Broke" lol! I've seen swatches of Misa's polish forever but never bought any because I don't really love not being able to see a polish in person before buying, I'm kinda weird like that. I finally caved and bought a couple bottles with my last Transdesign order. Gotta say, I am a Misa fan now! Shop Till U Drop is a light lavender that looks like it glows! I loved the bottle, the brush and the formula. I only had to use 1 coat!

This is 1 coat of Misa- Shop Till U Drop and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

China Glaze- TMI

Hi Guys! Hopefully this posts okay, blogger is being a real pain in the you know what today! Last week I made a big order with Transdesign, mostly to get some of the China Glaze Fall Collection but I also picked up a few polishes I had been wanting for a while! This is one of them!!

This is China Glaze- TMI, it is part of the OMG Collection that China Glaze put out a while ago. Unfortunately for me I was not nearly as addicted to nail polish then so this is the only polish I've managed to pick up so far. TMI is a really pretty rosy pink-red with a really pretty holographic glitter! Application wasn't too bad, a little patchy on the first coat but nothing the 2nd coat couldn't fix!

This is 2 coats of China Glaze- TMI and 1coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri. Apparently my camera doesn't like to pick up the holo, but you can see if better in the bottle and if you click on the picture!

Neon French Mani Skittles

Good morning! Feeling much better today, just in time for the Neon Trees concert I am going to tonight YAY! At first I was going to do full neon skittles, but I decided to tone it down a little bit and just do neon skittle tips for the show! I also did a big chop on the nails, before was the longest they have pretty much ever been! I could hardly function anymore lol

I used 1 coat of OPI- Black Onyx as a base. For the tips I used colors from the China Glaze- Poolside collection, Thumb- Towel Boy Tow, Index- Pool Party, Middle- Sun Worshiper, Ring- Kiwi Cool-Ada, Pinky- Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Covered it all with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Insta Dri. Just for the record, I don't recommend layering a neon over black. It took a freaking ton of coats to be happy with how the neon looked lol

Smoke & Mirrors

This post is going to be short and sweet because I still feel like death warmed over today. I actually dragged myself to work to get stuff that absolutely had to be done taken care of....kinda regretting that now. :( So sorry for this post sucking, hopefully tomorrow will be better!

This is the last of the 3 Sonia Kashuk polishes I picked up, a great silver foil! Application was great, I could have easily gotten away with 1 coat but decided to use two just in case!

This is 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk- Smoke & Mirrors and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Revlon Minted

Hope everyone is having a good day! Me, not so much :( I'm home sick from work. My day has been pretty much sucktastic. Woke up around 4am with really bad stomach pain, ate a little and drank some water and it went away enough to get a little more sleep. Woke up again a couple hours later and the same thing. I keep doing this cycle every couple of hours. And I have a monster headache on top of it. Ugh x10.

Anyway...I had been hunting for this polish for a while and came across it at the same time as I found Buffy from yesterday. This is the very first Revlon polish I have ever owned, they are one of those brands that I don't buy because I associate them with old ladies....in my brain Estee Lauder is in that category too! I saw swatches of this and decided I needed it! Unfortunately I am disappointed. Not by the color but by the formula....saying it is awful would be nice. Streaky, watery, thin etc. I was shocked that it was okay looking in 2 coats! Not only were there issues with the formula when I was putting it on but this sucker bubbled like nothing I've ever experienced. It was so bad that I had to take it off after a couple hours and re-do my entire mani. Apparently this polish and Sally Hansen Insta Dri don't get along, at least not on me. Not sure if I will buy Revlon again, they didn't make a great first impression! On a positive note, it really is a great mint green!

This is 2 coats of Revlon Minted and 1 coat of CND Speedy.

In every generation there is a chosen one...

She alone will stand against the vampires, demons & forces of darkness....she is the slayer. And this polish is name after her, which is why I bought it. I have been stalking all the drugstores around me since I first read about these Wet & Wild polishes that were named after TV shows. I finally found them, woohoo, thanks Walgreens!

This is Buffy The Violet Slayer, yes I bought it just for the name. I am a dork and I love me some Buffy, I have the whole series on DVD and have watched every single one of those DVD's. Whenever the Logo Channel plays old episodes I watch those too. Now that you all know what a nerd I am, I got really lucky with this polish because it happens to be a really pretty purple too! Buffy is a gorgeous vibrant purple with a bit of a blue flash. The formula however left a lot to be desired, it was very thin and somewhat difficult to work with...but I forgive that due to awesome name.

Sonia Kashuk- Space Cadet

Hey everyone! I was having a serious problem deciding on a color to wear today. I have a freaking TON of un-tried polishes. I decided to just close my eyes and pick one out. I might try this method for a while, it's like a game!

This is what I got, Sonia Kashuk Space Cadet! It's a really great blue creme. The formula was awesome, I probably could have gone with one coat even! I like these Sonia Kashuk polishes because even though they are creme they are super shiny and squishy looking like a jelly!

This is 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk- Space Cadet and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri. Check out the shine, this picture was in the shade!

My 100th post + Deborah Lippmann- Across The Universe

Woot, this is post number 100! I can't believe it, I usually suck at sticking with things like this but it feels like time has flown by. I feel like I have finally found something that fits me and I'm actually passionate about, I thought that might never happen lol! Blogging so far as been so much fun, I still can't believe how many of you follow my blog and leave such nice comments! I never really imagined that anyone other than myself and a few of my friends would ever see this blog, a couple days ago I passed 10,000 page loads!! Seriously 10,000, it blows my mind. I've made some great friends so far blogging, nail bloggers rule. I love you ladies, such a great community to be a part of! I can't wait to see where my blog is once I get to 200 posts!

What better way to celebrate with one of the prettiest polishes I have ever laid my eyes on. Deborah Lippmann- Across The Universe. My jaw about dropped after I put this on and looked at it outside, it is too gorgeous for words. Deborah Lippmann truly outdid herself with this polish. As good as it looks in pictures it looks even better in person. It's an explosion of blue and green round and hex glitter in a blue jelly base. Incredible. It reminds me of the ocean! I believe that for now this is sold out at Nordstroms, but I've heard rumors that it will be on Deborah Lippmann's website in August!

I have on 3 coats of Deborah Lippmann- Across The Universe and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Orly Royal Blue

Hi all, hope you're having a good day so far. I can't complain but it's still early! When I originally bought this I didn't notice how special it was. I thought it was just a straight up bright blue jelly. It wasn't until I got it out in the sun that I noticed the awesome turquoise micro glitter. HOLY WOW, this is fabulous....click on the picture to see the full beauty. So glad I picked this up!

This is 2 coats of Orly- Royal Blue, though looking at the pictures I should have done 3 since there is a tiny bit of VNL. I also have on 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Nubar Peacock Feathers!!

Good Morning! Today is the day everyone, my pre-order of Deborah Lippmann's newest shades Bad Romance and Across The Universe are supposed to be delivered today. I am so excited, I actually considered calling out sick so I could put on Across The Universe the second it got here. I decided that was probably not a good idea, so here I am counting down the hours until I can go home to play with my new pretties.

Today I have on Nubar- Peacock Feathers. This has been on my lemming list since the first time I ever made one. It's also the first Nubar I own thanks to a swap over at MUA! I love pretty much everything about this polish, it is a blue/purple/green duochrome *swoon*. I also wanted to mention that the handle is awesome...some polishes have tricky handles to deal with and this one fit really nicely in the hand, I appreciate little things like that. My only complaint, this sucker was impossible to get good pictures of. I promise it is better in person! This makes me want more Nubar polishes....I need to find an actual store that sells them so I don't have to buy online!

This is 2 coats of Nubar- Peacock Feather and 1 coat of CND Speedy.

Claire's Awesome/Silly Mood Polish

I just noticed that blogger FINALLY fixed my comment issue, all my old comments are back, yay!! Thanks blogger, I was beginning to give up hope!

This is the last of the new mood polishes, a light pink/dark pink combo called Awesome/Silly. I almost didn't buy it because ew light pink. I'm not in love with it, but it is pretty...just not my kinda color. Though the pink does make my fingers look not so sickly white haha. This one was a little sheer so you can see VNL, but it's not too noticeable in person.

I have on 2 coats of Claire's Awesome/Silly Mood Polish and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri

Room temp it looks like this on me, it goes from this to the whole nail being one color that is kind of in between how it looks hot & cold:

Here are the color changes, the first picture is with hot water and the second is with cold water!

Claire's Flirty/Shy Mood Polish

Another day, another mood polish! This is another one of the new shades I picked up. This one is a dark and light blue combination. It's not quite as in your face as Excited/Bored from yesterday. Also, since a reader asked in the comments of yesterdays post, Claire's mood polish is sold for $5 but I have yet to find a time when they aren't having a buy 1 get one 50% off sale so it averages out to $3.75 a bottle, not bad!

This is 2 coats of Claire's Flirty/Shy Mood Polish and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

The majority of the time, this is how the polish looked on me. If you have shorter nails the effect might not be as dramatic.

Here it is after dunking my fingers in hot and cold water. The first picture is with cold water and the second is warm water. You can see with the "cold" picture I was having issues, the color was refusing to stay dark long enough for me to snap a picture, so look towards the tip of the nail, that is how it looks when the whole nail is cold!

Claire's Excited/Bored Mood Polish

I went into Claire's yesterday afternoon to go swap shopping, and they had a few new mood polishes out. Since I am such a fan girl of their mood polish I bought them all, so much for not buying for my own stash? This is the first of the new shades that I got. I sincerely hope that Claire's keeps putting out new combinations of these mood polishes, I love them!

Excited/Bored is a really pretty peachy pink & coral pink combo. Excited is the coral pink and comes out to play on the cooler part of the nail while Bored is the peachy pink and shows up when your nail or nail bed is warm. Like the other mood polishes it dries with a satin matte finish so a top coat is necessary! I have on 2 coats of Claire's Mood Polish in Excited/Bored and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

First up, how it looks the majority of the time on me:

I had to dunk my fingers into water for these next ones if you are wondering why my fingers look wet lol. The first picture is after dunking in cool water, the second is with warm water!

Sonia Kashuk- Purple Rain

Happy Sunday! I am going swap shopping today woohoo, I have told myself "self, don't buy anything for your own stash" we'll see how well that works out. I think I can do it unless I happen to come across the China Glaze Vintage Vixen Collection in which case I will just empty my wallet and leave with one bottle of each polish.

Alright so, Sonia Kashuk polish....you can buy it at Target. Ever since the first time I saw that Sonia Kashuk made polish I was on the hunt for it. I happen to live very close to a lot of Target stores and went and looked at every single one and none of them carried the polish. I finally found it at one on Thursday!  I did a little happy dance and walked out with 3 bottles. This is the first one I swatched, I'm very happy with it. It went on like a dream, the formula was great. The wear was also great, I wore it at work Friday where I moved boxes around the warehouse for a couple hours. Not one chip on any nail, just a bit of tip wear, which you can see in the picture since I didn't take it until I got home from work. Overall, I am impressed!

This is 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk- Purple Rain and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

China Glaze In The Lime Light and Kiwi Cool-Ada comparison!

Hi everyone, another post for you today! A reader requested this back when I posted swatches of China Glaze Kiwi Cool-Ada and I didn't have China Glaze- In The Lime Light at the time. I was at Sally's the other day and saw ITLL so I picked it up. I wish I could remember which of you requested this, but since blogger ate all of my old comments I can't go look :(

Bonus kitty picture at the end of this post, Oreo was being quite the model today haha!

First up, picture of the bottles next to each other, Kiwi Cool-Ada is on the left, In The Lime Light is on the right.  It was apparent to me the moment I put these next to each other that they aren't really very similar at all except for both being a green neon. ITLL has a blue shimmer and is a cooler toned color where as KCA is a straight up in your face neon creme with a bit more yellow to it.

On the nail ITLL looks a lot lighter in neon terms and the shimmer is noticeable, both polishes are great and applied well however ITLL is a little more sheer than KCA. I really love both so I'm glad I finally picked up ITLL. The first picture is in the bright sun, the second is in the shade. I used a white base of American Apparel- Cotton under both polishes and have on 3 coats of KCA and ITLL. I labeled the pictures as to what finger is which polish :) The bottle I am holding is ITLL.

Oreo says hello, this is where he likes to sit to torture the dog. Degen is afraid to jump over that little fence and Oreo knows it lol

Funky Fingers Gaga Glitter

Today I have on Funky Fingers- Gaga Glitter. Have to admit I hummed Bad Romance while painting my nails...actually I still am. Love me some Gaga even if she is ridiculous. I really love this color, it is a hot pink with holo glitter! Unfortunately despite tons of attempts I cannot get the holo in this to photograph...I took almost 100 pictures in every kind of sunlight I could find. I can see it in person I'm not sure why my camera can't see it too. Even if you can't see the holo it's still a great hot pink with just regular looking glitter. I think I am starting to overcome my aversion to pink polish, at least the bright pinks anyway. Not sure if I can ever picture myself wearing a baby pink shade though.

This is 3 coats of Funky Fingers- Gaga Glitter and 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. I've been trying out this top coat the last few days, it dries really quick..not as quick as Seche but I really like it and it's about half the price!

Deborah Lippmann All That Jazz trio

Happy Friday! I need this weekend, bad....this whole week has been stress city for me. Looking forward to having one of those weekends where I never leave the house or change out of my PJ's! I got my Deborah Lippmann All That Jazz trio in the mail a couple of days ago so I have those swatches today! I believe for right now this is a Nordstroms exclusive but perhaps in the coming months it will show up on Deborah Lippmann's website.

First up, Some Enchanted Evening. A light pink kind of salmon colored glitter in a clear base. I've seen other swatches of this so I knew it was sheer, I decided to swatch it over different colors to see if I would like it as a layering polish. Unfortunately I don't love this, I'm very underwhelmed to be honest. I think if it was in a colored base and would ever be opaque it would be awesome, but in order to get this to be opaque you would need to do like a bazillion coats.

From left to right this is 2 coats of Some Enchanted Evening (SEE) on a half naked nail only my Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat underneath it, 2 coats of SEE layered over OPI- Black Onyx, 2 coats of SEE layered over American Apparel- Cotton, 2 coats of SEE layered over OPI Malaysian Mist. No top coat on any of the nails, picture was taken in indirect sunlight.

Next up, Lady Sings The Blues. A deep Navy Jelly packed with multi sized silver glitter. Loving this one, it has a lot of dimension to it. It's the blue BFF of Red Ruby Slippers which I also love. Please ignore the little chip my my index finger in the pictures, I broke that nail before I had a chance to take pictures :(

This is 3 coats of Lady Sings The Blues and 2 coats of Seche Vite to make the finish smooth.

Indirect Sunlight

Shade

Lastly my unexpected favorite from the trio. Razzle Dazzle. A Raspberry jelly packed like whoa with glitter. So not my typical color that I love but when I got it on WOW. I have nothing more to say other than I freaking love this polish lol.

This is 3 coats of Razzle Dazzle and 2 coats of CND Speedy

Rescue Beauty Lounge 360

Got my new Lippmann Jazz Trio in the mail yesterday woohoo, swatches tomorrow probably! Now let's talk again about Fed Ex, I am going to rant more about them. I think they might have heard me cursing their name when I got my Barielle order last week because last night a Fed Ex driver thought it would be a fantastical idea to deliver a package at MIDNIGHT. Seriously Fed Ex? The dude woke me up with all his noise while he got my box out of his truck so I am not a happy camper this morning. Thankfully he didn't ring the door bell or anything though he may as well have since I was already awake. I got a bunch of polishes I ordered from E.L.F. when they were having a rad 60% off sale a few days ago...not sure where I am going to put all this new polish. I think I might need to invest in Helmer number 2 soon yikes!

I bought this color a couple weeks ago, RBL is definitely a splurge polish but for some reason when I bought this at Planet Beauty they gave me some random discount and it ended up being over $4 cheaper!!. I have no clue why I got the discount but hey, not gonna complain about that! 360 is a really gorgeous blue gray with a little bit of silver shimmer you can see when the light hits the nail just right. After having this on for a couple hours I decided my nails were looking a little boring...I haven't really done much in the way of nail art recently due to overwhelming laziness lol. I sat and thought about what I could do, I didn't want to Konad and cover up a lot of the 360 so I started going through all the other random things I have acquired to stick on my nails. I stopped when I got to the awesome Essence star glitter Inge sent me, I've never used anything like this before. I really love the way it turned out, it's subtle nail art but really pretty especially in the sun. I can't stop staring at my nails lol.

This is 2 coats of RBL- 360 with 1 coat of Seche Vite and Essence Star Shaped Nail Art Glitter. First picture is in the sun, you can see a little of the silver shimmer which is why I'm posting it. Second picture is in the shade.

One of my huge lemmings, swatched!

Last night I set out to franken, I wanted to make a forest green with a blue and purple flash. I think it might possibly be the hugest franken fail I've done yet lol. I might keep messing with it to see if I can ever achieve what it looks like it my head, not like I can make it any worse after all! After my giant fail I need a nail pick me up so out came more swap goodies!

This Catrice polish was one that I had wanted since the first time I saw a swatch of it. Inge from Polishsis sent it to me, without me even asking for it specifically! How is that for good luck! It was great as I imagined! The formula was great and I had full opacity in 2 easy coats! Such a gorgeous color, I'm gonna have to go through my stash and see if I have anything similar. This color is right up my alley so I'm sure I have something a close to it!

This is 2 coats of Catrice- From Dusk To Dawn and 1 coat of Seche Vite. Had a little run in with the door knob on my ring finger but it's not really noticeable except in this picture (of course!)

Thelma & Louise!

Earlier today I switched over to my brand new custom domain, woohoo exciting. Now I am www.thepolishaholic.com instead of polish-aholic.blogspot.com unfortunately it seems that this change has caused ALL the comments left prior to the switch to disappear. What gives blogger?!? I miss all your wonderful comments guys :(  I posted about the problem on the blogger help forum and I got a reply saying they should reappear within 72 hours, so fingers crossed!

This is the first of my awesome swap goodies from Inge at Polishsis. I didn't know what to try first I was so excited about everything! I picked out Essence Nail Art Twins in Thelma & Louise. What a cute idea, I wish US companies did cute things like this!

Thelma is a gorgeous dark grape purple creme and Louise is a glitter packed topper. It has tons of small round glitter and dark and light pink square glitter! It's like a party on my nails, I love this combo! For some reason this did not want to photograph as well as I would have liked it to. It looks so much better in real life!  Ignore the tip wear, long day of typing at work is not good for a pretty mani :(

This is 2 coats of Essence Thelma topped with 1 coat of Louise!

Barielle- Falling Star

Tonight I bought Dark Chili Chocolate while I was at Target. I've never tried it before but I was feeling adventurous and this is about as crazy as I get with food. I am pretty much the pickiest eater ever. Fingers crossed I like it! I am also currently watching "Joe Dirt" this movie is awful so of course I watch it every single time I find it on TV hehe.

Anyway, look what was waiting for me when I got home at lunch time today!! How is that for quick service! In case someone from Barielle reads this, you guys have amazing customer service and I look forward to buying more of your polish because of that great customer service! Luckily my mail man isn't angry like Mr. Fed Ex driver so this time the bottle arrived in perfect condition!

I have been eyeing this polish for months. It is so unique, I've never seen anything similar. Naturally the moment I got home from work I got to polishing. The formula on this was a bit tricky, a little thick. I was expecting the glitter to pop a little bit more but the longer I have it on the more I like that it's somewhat subtle from far away.

I have on 1 thin coat and 2 medium coats for full opacity, covered it all with 1 coat of Seche Vite. Picture is in natural light with flash.

Milani- HD

The sun finally made it's way out yesterday afternoon, woohoo! Took the opportunity to finally put on this polish! I found the silver from the Milani Holographic 3D collection and bought it a few weeks ago! It's so pretty! These Milani holo's make me long for the Nfu-Oh holo's, they look so much better lol...one of these days I will just suck it up and buy a bunch!

I have on 3 coats of Milani- HD and 1 coat of Seche Vite!

Finger Paints- Tough Art To Follow

I hit 200 followers this morning, that is incredible. Thank you so much everyone for following and leaving sweet comments =)

Kind of a boring nail polish day, I have a bunch of glittery polishes I want to wear but the sun has been hiding for the last week or so that hasn't happened. I went to Sally's a couple weeks ago to get more Hands On remover pad thingys....of course that is not all I left with though. I picked up a few new Finger Paints polishes and found some gems in the Clearance bin, nothing too exciting but some that I didn't have already and for $1.99 I couldn't not get them lol. This color was an immediate "omg need" kind of color.  It looked like a gorgeous Forest Green in the store. I was kind of surprised when I got it on and it's a really dark black-green. It reminds me of OPI Here Today Aragon tomorrow, but I like the formula better on this one.

This is 2 coats of Finger Paints- Tough Art To Follow and 1 coat of CND Speedy.

Organized the stash....

416 bottles people. FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN. when did that happen?!? Please ignore the neon and half torn off stickers on top of some of the bottles, that was my genius way of organizing my collection before I got my Helmer. I have ditched that method, it didn't work out so well! I feel accomplished for the weekend and am seriously considering a nap. Overall OPI and China Glaze take over my stash, Zoya is closing in though thanks to their polish exchange....Sally Hansen is in 4th place.

Enjoy some not so great quality cell phone pictures:

When I set out to organize I put all of my polish in a big pile on my bed:

Then I put it in piles by brand and stuffed my Helmer drawers full...amazing how much that little Helmer can hold.

My first Barielle polishes!

Happy Saturday! Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? Me, nope! That's the way I like it, plus I'm so broke I couldn't do anything exciting if I wanted to lol. I blame my brokeness on Zoya and Deborah Lippmann *shakes fist*. I'm thinking of organizing and counting my stash...I think that will be painful but fun!

I bought my very first 6 Barielle polishes a couple weeks ago, they were having an awesome buy 2 get 1 free sale and 20% off, what a bargain. There were some shades I had my eye on for a while, so I was excited to finally try them out! Unfortunately as I mentioned yesterday Falling Star didn't make the trip too well :( so that swatch will be coming later, whenever I get it! I have to say it again, Barielle has amazing customer service. When I emailed late Thursday night about the Falling Star tragedy I expected to get an answer sometime next week. That was not the case, when I woke up Friday morning there was a friendly response waiting for me. Jessica, the Barielle rep, was even nice enough to ship my new bottle USPS instead of Fed Ex like it was sent the first time. My Fed Ex driver sucks, I blame him for what happened.  He didn't deliver until after 8pm and he THREW the box at my house, didn't ring the door bell or anything. I only knew it arrived when the box bounced off the house and my dog ran to the door to attack the noise lol. I hate Fed-Ex...ugh

On to talking about the pretties! I noticed once I opened the box that I seem to have bought a lot of similar colors, I have been on quite the gray toned kick lately and all 3 of these polishes have that quality to them. The formula was great, 2 coats for full opacity on each. June Bug was a little on the thick side, I'll probably have to thin that one a little for next time I wear it.

First up, U-Concrete-Me. The perfect gray, and it really does look like concrete when it's wet. This color is from the All Lacquered Up collection that came out last year. It's one that I have been lemming! This is 2 coats of Barielle- U-Concrete-Me and 1 coat of CND Speedy

Putt-E-On Me, a mushroomy purplish gray....awesome! Another I had been lemming from the All Lacquered Up collection. I love love love this color, it looks like one of those colors that would be flattering on a variety of skin tones! This is 2 coats of Barielle- Putt-E-On Me and 1 coat of CND Speedy.

June Bug, a dusty light blue toned gray with a nice aqua blue shimmer and sparse fuchsia glitter. Holy Cow! This looks like something I would try and Franken, I mean that in a good way. This was actually not one I had seen before browsing the Barielle site, not sure how I missed it because it's great! The shimmer and glitter is very subtle, could be a good work color for people who need that kind of thing. Luckily for me my workplace doesn't care what color my nails are! Like I mentioned before, the formula was thick but nothing that can't be fixed with a little thinner. This is 2 coats of Barielle- June Bug and 1 coat of CND Speedy. First picture is in the shade and is color accurate to  how this color looks on me, the second is not color accurate...it was with flash to show the awesome shimmer!

Small Sinful Colors Haul

Hi everyone! I picked up a few Sinful Colors polishes during the 99 cent sale Walgreens was having, below are swatches of them! I've actually been meaning to post these all week but then I kept getting nail mail that I was so excited about I posted them first lol. I got more nail mail last night, woohoo! I ordered 6 polishes from Barielle, sadly the one I was most looking forward to, Falling Star, had an accident in shipment. RIP Falling Star. But Barielle I'm happy to say has awesome customer service and they are already sending me out a new bottle! Can't wait to try it out! Now on to the swatches!

Mint Apple, a dusty mint green with a beautiful hidden shimmer. I didn't notice the shimmer in this until I decided to swatch it, what a nice surprise! I am loving this color, it's my favorite out of the 3 I bought! This is 2 coats of Sinful Colors- Mint Apple and 1 coat of CND Speedy

All Mighty,  a nice almost aqua blue with a bit of shimmer. I thought this was going to be darker but I really like how it turned out. My only complaint is the finish shows brush strokes, though you cant really see that in the picture. This is 2 coats of Sinful Colors- All Mighty and 1 coat of CND Speedy

I Love You, what a weird name for a polish...but it's pretty. This polish is a violet base packed with glitter that has a pink hue to it in some lights. It's like the glitter packed friend of Claire's Magic! I really thought I was not going to like this once I started to put it on, the first two coats were not good. The third coat reminded me why I bought it! The color totally transformed into what it looks like in the bottle! I have on 3 coats of Sinful Colors- I Love You and 1 coat of CND Speedy.
