Good Morning! Hope you all had a good weekend, mine kinda sucked but that's my own fault. I did get the concert tickets I was talking about on Friday though, yay! The show sold out in about 1 minute! I bought my pair and then went back to buy another pair and it was already sold out! Crazy! Today I might have to go to court for work, not looking forward to that. I'm "on call" so I'm hoping that they don't need me...now that I said that they probably will, haha!
Today's post is a comparison between a new polish from Claire's called Poison Apple and Mac's Bad Fairy. Claire's recently came out with 3 new polishes, all very similar looking to the 3 polishes from Mac's Venomous Villains collection from last year...even with similar Disney sounding names. I heard some talk over on MUA about Poison Apple being a dupe of Bad Fairy...sorry to disappoint but it's not. It is similar though so it might squash your lemming for Bad Fairy if you never picked it up. The formula was pretty similar to the Mac polish, aka sheer but it has one major plus over Mac...no wonky brush. A couple other positives for the Claire's polish over the Mac polish...bigger bottle and way better price. The polish at Claire's retails for $5.00 and was on sale, Buy 1 Get 1 50% off! Poison Apple has a darker more reddish base and the orange duochrome isn't as bright and strong as Bad Fairy. I prefer Bad Fairy myself, but Poison Apple is pretty too. I'll probably wear it again.
Poison Apple is on the Index, Ring & Pinky fingers and Bad Fairy is on the middle finger...all pictures are in the shade.
