Thanks to everyone who has bought from my blog sale so far. There is still about 1/2 of what I'm purging left if you want to wander over there and see if you want anything. I just finished packaging up everything that was paid for yesterday. I had no idea how much work actually goes into a blog sale lol...why didn't anyone warn me?!?
Alright so for today I have one of the polishes Sonia Kashuk is giving us for Spring 2011. I found this the other day at Target, that is the place to buy these in case you are wondering! They also had the other 3 colors for Spring 2011 but none of them interested me so I didn't buy them. The one I did pick up is called Fatigued and it's a kind of olive green with a subtle shimmer...look familar to anyone? More on that in a minute! The formula was great...I loved it! I'm a big fan of Sonia Kashuk polish...I don't see it posted about too much on the blogs and that is so weird to me! Please ignore the funky jaundice look of my skin in the picture below. Not sure why it looks like that!
I used 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk Fatigued for the picture below.
Alright onto the where have I seen this before portion of this post. In the store this looked unique...blame crapstastic Target lighting. Once I got home and looked at it I thought hmmm this looks a lot like Sew Psyched from Essie. Out came my nail wheel and my 2 bottles of polish and guess what...very very similar! The Sonia Kashuk might have a bit more shimmer. The formula was pretty similar on both, I can't say I like one more than the other. The main difference is price. Sonia Kashuk retails for around $4.99 while Essie retails for around $8.00 depending on where you buy it from.
