Sonia Kashuk Fatigued for Spring 2011 + a Comparison!

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday! I have been looking forward to this particular Tuesday for quite some time...months actually. One of my most favorite bands called Bayside is finally releasing their new album today! I feel like I have been waiting forever for it! If you have never checked Bayside out, now would be a great time to do that! I feel like they are grossly underrated and better than 95% of the crap the radio plays. They aren't everyone's cup of tea but I loooove them! I give their new album 2 perfectly polished thumbs up! haha

Thanks to everyone who has bought from my blog sale so far. There is still about 1/2 of what I'm purging left if you want to wander over there and see if you want anything. I just finished packaging up everything that was paid for yesterday. I had no idea how much work actually goes into a blog sale lol...why didn't anyone warn me?!?

Alright so for today I have one of the polishes Sonia Kashuk is giving us for Spring 2011. I found this the other day at Target, that is the place to buy these in case you are wondering! They also had the other 3 colors for Spring 2011 but none of them interested me so I didn't buy them. The one I did pick up is called Fatigued and it's a kind of olive green with a subtle shimmer...look familar to anyone? More on that in a minute! The formula was great...I loved it! I'm a big fan of  Sonia Kashuk polish...I don't see it posted about too much on the blogs and that is so weird to me! Please ignore the funky jaundice look of my skin in the picture below. Not sure why it looks like that!

I used 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk Fatigued for the picture below.

Alright onto the where have I seen this before portion of this post. In the store this looked unique...blame crapstastic Target lighting. Once I got home and looked at it I thought hmmm this looks a lot like Sew Psyched from Essie. Out came my nail wheel and my 2 bottles of polish and guess what...very very similar! The Sonia Kashuk might have a bit more shimmer. The formula was pretty similar on both, I can't say I like one more than the other. The main difference is price. Sonia Kashuk retails for around $4.99 while Essie retails for around $8.00 depending on where you buy it from.

  6. Pretty! The SK one looks like it has a bit more gold to it!

  7. this also looks a lot like Zoya's Gemma from their Spring collection!

  8. @Keyada.briana

It's somewhat similar to Gemma in the base color but Gemma has a purple/blue shimmer.

  9. That color reminds me a lot of Zoya's Gemma, too. Must be a hot color this season. Either way, it's pretty.

  10. I always thought Sk beauty line was kinda
Expensive for target but I'm loving this color
On you I'm so getting one next target visit
Thanks for the review and swatch

  11. Love this shade! I have Sew Psyched and love that shade of green.
