China Glaze Virtual Violet

Good Morning! I'm getting such a late start this morning, I woke up at like 9:30, which is pretty late for me! Luckily it doesn't matter too much since my only plans are taking Degen to the park lol

Today I have for you guys China Glaze Virtual Violet, a purple with scattered holo glitter. This comes from the Tronica collection that is exclusive to Sally Beauty. This seems to be the most holo out of any that I picked up. I'm pretty disappointed by this collection to be honest. I feel like China Glaze was all yay holo then I actually got them and I need a microscope to actually see this holo they speak of. That said, it is very pretty....I probably wouldn't have been disappointed if this collection hadn't been so hyped as being holo. The formula was great on this, so was the wear. I had this on last week for about 3 days and didn't have any chipping and hardly any tip wear!

Below is 2 coats of Virtual Violet!

  2. I am also disappointed with TRONICA. I am finishing up my OMG collection...I prefer the linear holo's

  3. Yep, I'm with you on this collection.
But you did a great job capturing what little holo there is.

  4. This is definitely my fav polish of the collection, although I'm partial to purples so that might have something to do with it

  5. Even though the holo isn't that great, the shade is pretty. I'd get this anyway.

  7. I agree that this line was so hyped up...when I take a step back and look at the actual polishes sans holo hype they are great! fun colors with a nice holo touch. With the hype they are a bit of a let down :S

  13. Mimi over at makeupwithdrawl.com did a really helpful side-by-side comparison for the OMG vs. Tronica collection back in January that prepped me for which Tronicas I wanted to buy.

One of the polishes I think a lot of people are looking over from this collection was Cyberspace. It's actually -really- gorgeous on the nail, and something semi-close to the stunning Butter London All Hail McQueen that I adore.

For my purple I chose Electra Magenta, but you're kind've making me crave Virtual Violet now :3

  14. I haven't bought any of this collection. The pictures I've seen make me so disappointed. I couldn't wait for this collection to come out. This is the prettiest I've seen.

  16. Tronica is no OMG but it's still a nice collection in its own right. I have Gamer Glam on right now, which I feel has been pretty overlooked, it's probably the most holo out of all of them (and I have nearly all of them!). It's not IDK but it's still pretty. Lovely pictures though, Jen, I had a hell of a time capturing the holo in these!
