Franken: My Fabulous Fighter Jet

Good Morning! Anyone watch Dancing With The Stars last night? I did! I used to hate that show but I kinda like it now, it's such a trainwreck at the beginning I can't help myself!

Alright, so today I have a franken for you guys...woohoo! I've been trying to master this franken for a long freakin time and I finally am happy with my results! I've been going for something close to the original version of OPI My Private Jet. I think I got pretty close! I'm calling this My Fabulous Fighter Jet haha. It's a lot more holo IRL, my camera fails at capturing holo in all it's glittery rainbow goodness!

Here is the recipe I used:

1/2 black nail polish (I didn't use any specific brand, just some random stuff I had lying around)
1/4 clear polish
1/4 OPI DS original (or any strong linear holo)

  2. I love your franken and the name, but I cry for the beautifulness that is DS Original. Sigh, gotta crack some eggs to get an omelette, I guess. ;)

  5. Ooo this is tasty! I love when people can franken up a dupe. Seriously though, if we (and by we I mean you) can create a black holo a la MPJ why can't OPI? I guess they don't have enough DS original and black polish lying around! ;)

LOL I felt bad using DS Original but the bottles I frankened this into were really small so it didn't actually use very much!
