GingerKittyDesigns Nail Polish Jewelry!

Happy Friday! I am SO SO excited for today's post! A couple weeks ago I ordered a few pieces from the fabulous GingerKittyDesigns. Tracey, the wonderful woman behind GingerKittyDesigns makes and designs amazing jewelry made from nail polish. How cool is that?!? You can get a whole range of pieces, everything from rings, to bracelets to keychains etc.. Everything Tracey makes is completely customizable. She has a list on her blog of every polish she has available and you can email her with what you would like in what color or what combination of colors. If she doesn't own a polish you want but you do own it she can send you a small bottle to decant your polish into so she can make what you would like. Talk about amazing customer service right?!? All of the jewelry that Tracey makes is also pretty affordable in my opinion, the most expensive piece goes for around $35. I was showing my Dad what I got last night and even he was surprised that it wasn't more expensive!

This review has been a loooong time coming, I have been eying Tracey's jewelry for months but could never decide on what I wanted to get. Now after getting all of these I'm already planning my next order! This post is pretty picture heavy, enjoy!

In case you are wondering what nail polish I'm wearing on my nails it is OPI Blue Moon Lagoon, which I will be posting swatches of tomorrow!

First up, the most fantastical piece of jewelry I now own, the Liquid Euphoria Bliss ring! The lovely Andrea from Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss decanted a small portion of her bottle of this amazing polish for Tracey. The rings that she made from it are just wow...I have no words to describe how incredible it is in person. The batch of these rings from Andrea's polish already sold out, however it looks like someone else was also nice enough to send Tracey some of their Bliss polish so she is taking pre-orders on her etsy shop for rings that will be made soon. If you want this I suggest you run over there and order one before they are gone! This ring is a chameleon, it flashes what seems like a million colors...I tried to capture as many as I could. As good as the ring looks in these pictures it's even better in person!

Next up I got stud earrings made with Nfu Oh 51. One of my most favorite Nfu Oh polishes that I haven't yet been able to get my hands on. Since I can't have it on my fingers right now at least I can decorate my ears with it lol. I'm loving this, it flashes a lot of blue, purple and pink!  I'm thinking a ring made with this polish will definitely be in my next order!

Thought I would include this too, so you can see the size of them! (yes, that's a tattoo back there...it's a bee which is Degen's nickname!)

Next up, this was one a surprise piece from Tracey and it is amazing! If you have read my blog for a while you know what a fangirl I am of anything and everything holo. One of the most amazing and in your face holo polishes I actually own is Gosh Holographic and Tracey surprised me with a ring made from it! To make it even better she put Black Shatter over it! I love it, crack and holo...yes please! This is AMAZING in the sun, like I never should ever wear this on a sunny day while driving I would for sure get in an accident because of staring at it! I am fully planning on painting my nails in this combo then wearing this ring!

Last up is one of the newest additions to Tracey's etsy shop a keychain! I opted to try and go for a couple of my other loves in this piece, duochrome and sparkles! One of the very cool things that Tracey does is water marble a bunch of polishes for her jewelry, I love this. Every piece is unique and you can pretty much get whatever you could possibly imagine in terms of color combination's! The polishes we ended up with here are Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie, OPI Ink, CND Sapphire Sparkle (effect) and China Glaze Fairy Dust. Now these wouldn't water marble as Tracey was hoping, but I'm really loving the effect I got so I'm gonna call it a happy accident. I love the pockets of glitter and all the shapes. It's so gorgeous. When you turn it different ways the blue flash in RBL Scrangie really comes out!

Here is a picture of it attached to my car key, since I keep my car key out of my purse for the most part I decided the keychain would be safest with it. It comes on the chain with the round keyring.

Once I got it on my keys the ring part wasn't working for me...if you have a VW or have seen their keys it's a really odd shape at the end that you put the keychain onto...it's narrow and just weird. So my wonderful Dad attached a "hooky thingy" on to it for me instead. He was making fun of me for calling it a hooky thingy but I'm not sure what else I would refer to it as lol. Here is a picture of what it looks like now!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post, I did! Tracey is one of the nicest people I have ever come across in this little community of nail polish freaks and she does amazing work. All of her jewelry can be purchased in her etsy shop.

  15. Thank you SO much for posting about Tracey and her AMAZING Etsy jewelry! I can't wear rings due to arthritis, so she suggested a lovely open cuffed bracelet.

BOTH of you are amazing! I do so love the polish addict community :)
