Misa 9-5 Collection Swatches!

Good Morning! Happy Tuesday! I woke up today exactly 3 minutes before I was supposed to be at work...don't you hate when that happens?!? It was like a panicked run to my car then to work...not that it even mattered because I still got here 15 minutes before all the late every day people!

How appropriate of me to be ranting about work because wouldn't you know...today I have for you guys the 9-5 Collection from Misa! For Spring Misa gave us 2 collections, this one and the Wishes Collection that I posted a few days ago. I really like this 9-5 collection! It's not the most exciting color wise but I'm a big fan of grey and taupe so this is right up my alley. Also, I totally lol at the names! Can I also just say that I wish I worked 9-5, I work 7:30-5 and it sucks!

First up is Blush Hour, a very light pink...almost white. I love this! Didn't think would even come out of my mouth about this kind of shade! It wasn't until I started blogging that I started being okay with light pink toned shades like this one! The formula was great, thick but in a good, easy to work with kind of way. I only used 2 coats for full opacity...I am impressed! It wasn't streaky or sheer which is why I usually don't care for these kinds of polishes!

Next up is Pay Days Are Happy Days which is a soft light taupe brown . I have a lot of this sort of color but nothing exactly like this one! The formula was great, again on the thick but easy to work with side. I used 2 coats for the picture below!

Coffee Pick Me Up is a purple toned taupe. I feel like I have seen this before, but guess what? I still like it. I'm weirdly obsessed with purple toned taupe. This will be one that I eventually do comparisons for so be on the look out for that post (I just need to find time to do it!). Again, great formula! I used 2 coats of Coffee Pick Me Up for the picture below.

Next up, PaintingMyNails@Work.  I seriously laugh at the name of this one, I wish I could paint my nails all day at work! PaintingMyNails@Work is a really pretty grey with just a touch of taupey brown in there to darken it up a little. Formula was great! (Are you tired of hear that yet?) I used 2 coats for the picture below!

Working Hard or Hardly Working is a grey creme. Guess what? I love it! Shocking, I know haha! I'm thinking I probably have a couple similar to this, but I don't even care. It's like me and my purple taupe...I will continue to buy it even if I have a million just like it! Formula again, great! I used 2 coats of Working Hard or Hardly Working for the picture below!

Last up is Office Polish-tics a dark blue toned grey. This is my absolute favorite of the collection! If I could only have 1 polish from this collection I'd pick this one! I don't think I have anything similar, I went through my stash when these arrived and didn't see anything that jumped out to me as being dupey! Great formula...I used 2 coats for the picture below!

  1. I quite like Office Polish-tics. I'm fairly certain I don't own a blue-gray like that.

Oh oh, and I used to paint my nails at work all the time. But (usually) on break, so the supervisors could all bite me! Ha!

  7. @Anonymous

That's on my list of comparisons! I swatched them side by side on a nail wheel when I first got this collection and they are similar but not exact dupes!

  10. Pay Days Are Happy Days is super pretty! That's my favorite. Office Polish-Tics would have been my favorite of the collection but I already have Zoya Kelly and it looks like a pretty close dupe.

  17. Great swatches! I have BH, PDAHD and OP on the way to me. Also have Orly Pure Porcelain on the way so I pray that it's not too similar to Misa BH!
