Misa Wishes Collection Swatches!

Good Morning! Back to the weekday grind, ugh. I went and saw that I Am Number Four movie yesterday, it was much better than I expected. I mean lets face it, I only wanted to see it because the main guy in it is hot but it turned out to be entertaining!

Today I have for you guys the rest of the Wishes Collection that Misa has put out for Spring 2011! I am so in love with this collection, I don't really have anything like these in my stash. They are so soft and shimmery, in my opinion a great spring collection. I also like that this is different than anything we have seen lately from any other company, that's rare so when something unique to my collection comes out I appreciate it!

First up is Fountain of Youth, a pale green packed with shimmer. This is definitely in the running for my St. Patrick's Day mani. I love it! The formula was a bit thick but easy to work with. I think I'll probably add a couple drops of thinner in it for next time though!

This is 2 coats of Fountain of Youth

Next up is Never Say Never, a silvery grey/white metallic shimmer. I do like this one, but out of the whole collection it's probably my least favorite. The color isn't flattering on my skin tone. It was beautiful outside though, you can see the shimmer but it's much more metallic looking than the rest of them. I was also surprised that this one wasn't as sheer as I thought it might be!

This is 3 coats of Never Say Never

Last up is Whimsical Wish, a peachy nude with red shimmer! Reminds me of the layering I did with a couple of the new Essie polishes a few days ago! So here is a good way to re-create that for much less in one polish! The formula on this one was also a little bit thick, but again very easy to work with!

This is 2 coats of Whimsical Wish

Ok so, I already posted the other 3 polishes from this collection, but it's a lot easier to find things in one post as opposed to 4 separate ones. Below are the pictures of the other 3 previously posted polishes from the Wishes Collection. Click on the name of the polish to go to that post!

Genie In This Bottle

Pixie Princess

Touch The Rainbow

*products in this post were sent to me for review*

  1. I love Fountain of Youth! The other two aren't really my speed. I'm very impressed that most of them are 2 coaters. They look like they'd be really sheer.

  2. You know, I heard that movie was awful.
But I too peeped the hotness of the main actor, plus timothy olyphant is in it and I'm obsessed with him and his hilarious name.
So I'll just split the difference and watch it as soon as it comes out on netflix. LOL.

And thank you for the swatches!
    Unfortunately, I don't think I really like this's like frosty pastel. :(

  3. @ChaosButterfly

LOL see I hadn't heard anything about it so I just went in expecting to have pretty eye candy. Maybe since I had zero expectations it seemed good lol

In person these aren't frosty at all...I wish I could capture on camera the shimmer on these. They are so pretty!

  4. This is true Spring collection I think.. I like fountain of youth!

  5. I like them all! I prefer this collection than the 9 to 5 one but there are a few pretties in that one.

  6. I love Genie in this Bottle. Where can I purchase Misa polishes?

  7. @Anonymous

I usually buy mine on :)

  8. I'm going to add pixie princess and touch the rainbow to my "should have" list.. so pretty and mellow

  9. Those colours are so nice...:) I love them all!
    Have a nice day ;)

  10. Fountain of Youth and Touch the Rainbow are my favorites.
I also love those cute names!

  11. Love Fountain of You! I also like Genie in This Bottle. I like the rest also! Your picture of the Fountain of You is the best. I can really see the green in it.

  12. I love these, seriously need to get my hands on them!
