Today I have for you guys a comparison! I just got a few Butter London polishes in the mail yesterday...I went on a bit of an online shopping rampage last week! When I put them on my desk I noticed that Henley Regatta was sitting next to All You Need Is Color from FingerPaints Summer Collection and boy, did they look similar. I had to see if they were!
I gotta say guys, they are very close on the nail. The only real differences are that the glitter in the FingerPaints polish is a little smaller and it's a bit more opaque. The glitter combo is spot on though! When I had them on it was hard to tell which is which unless I was trying to see the difference. I prefer the formula on Butter London's polish but the coverage on FingerPaints. If you have a Sally's near you and like this All You Need Is Color is a great MUCH cheaper alternative to Henley Regatta!
I used 3 coats of each polish for the photos below!
I really wanted to buy Henley Regatta a few weeks ago, but was discouraged when I saw the state of my Butter London Rosie Lee. I bought Rosie Lee less than a year ago and it is the same glitter consistency as Henley Regatta. Rosie Lee has completely dried up and solidified and is utterly unusable. I really love the blue but would hate to spend the $$ on it and have it dry up!

ReplyDeleteI have yet to try and Butter London polishes! I see them in stores and at the airport but have yet to take the plunge! Your nails look beautiful. :)

ReplyDeleteThey definitely looked like the same polishes to me until you stated that they were comparisons. I would prefer FP over BL though, just for the coverage.

ReplyDeleteIf you've got Atlantis, is there any reason for either of these? (I'm being serious - with Atlantis having the holo glitter but the same color palette, I wasn't sure if they were different enough you could justify having Atlantis and one of these.)
