Essie Borrowed & Blue

Hi guys, happy hump day...half way to Friday woohoo! Today I have for you guys Borrowed & Blue from Essie's Wedding Collection for 2011. I saw this collection out at Ulta last week and this was only one that screamed "buy me", the rest were all pink or red.

Borrowed & Blue is a light pastel sky blue. I don't think it's very unique but it still very pretty, I'm a sucker for shades like this...they make me look not so ghostly white lol. I like wearing shades like this on my toes during the summer! The formula was good on this, my only issue was that big ol globs of polish kept falling from seemingly nowhere off the brush onto my nails...that is more than likely my fault but I hate when that happens! I used 2 coats of Borrowed & Blue for the photos below.

  1. Have you got experience with Hard Candy Sky? I held off buying this Essie suspecting they were dupes, and that Hard Candy is much cheaper!

I do have Hard Candy Sky, it has a shimmer in it...Borrowed & Blue is just a straight up creme, no shimmer. :)

  30. I would love to see the entire hand in one photo, like OPI does in the "try it on" option.  It helps for visualizing it a different perspective.
