FingerPaints Peace, Love & Color Swatches!

Good morning guys! Today I have for you guys FingerPaints Summer Collection called Peace, Love & Color. I was a big fan of these when I saw the promo images and they are even better in person! I love when that happens!

First up! All You Need Is Color which is a mix of aqua, blue and green glitter in a light greenish blue almost clear base. The sparkle once I got this on was insane!  The formula was a bit thick but not hard to work with. I needed 3 coats for full opacity. It did dry a little dull, I'm wearing a top coat in the pictures below.

Give Pink A Chance is a very red leaning pink. I was expecting it to be more pink actually. I really like this one, it was very flattering on my skin tone. The formula was fantastic, the best of the bunch in my opinion! I used 2 coats of Give Pink A Chance for the photo below.

Groovy Green is a bright grass green with a silver shimmer running throughout. I guess you would call it a shimmer, honestly I have no idea how to describe the finish on this one...I've never seen anything like it. It was kinda frosty and showed brush strokes. I think my photo is doing it some favors to be completely honest. It went on much differently than I thought it would when I saw it in the bottle. I can't decide if I like this or not. The formula was a bit thick and hard to work with, I added thinner and that fixed it right up though! I also had some problems with dragging at the cuticle, the 2nd coat covered that up. I used 2 coats of Groovy Green for the photo below!

Outta Sight Orange is a yummy orange with pink and orange micro glitter mmmm. I bet you won't be surprised when I proclaim this my favorite! The formula was great and the micro glitter is amazing. I love this one! I used 2 coats of Outta Sight Orange for the photos below.

Peaceful Purple is purple and silver glitter in a light purplish almost clear base. I like this one a lot, but not as much as the other glitter, All You Need Is Color....Peaceful Purple wasn't as sparkletastic. The formula however was much better with this one, it wasn't thick at all! I used 3 coats of Peaceful Purple for the photos below.

Last but not least is Psychedelic Sunshine a bright sunny yellow jelly packed with micro glitter, some of it holographic! When I opened the package with these polishes this one immediately jumped out at me, it's incredible and beautiful in the bottle. I was so excited about it that it was the first I ran to put on. Now, I love the color but it shows VNL like whoa. I think it would be best layered over another yellow or even a white. The formula was also not great, very thick..thick to the point of being hard to apply. I put a lot of thinner in there and it didn't seem to help very much. I'm really hoping I just got a dud bottle or something.  I'm not sure if adding more coats of this polish would help get rid of the VNL, I was going to try but the polish was so thick that it just wasn't going to happen. That said, I love this and will deal with the formula so I can wear it again, next time layered! I used 2 coats of Psychedelic Sunshine for the photos below.

What do you guys think? Will you be picking these up? I really love All You Need Is Color, Outta Sight Orange and Psychedelic Sunshine. Those are my picks from this collection. If you pick up Psychedelic Sunshine make sure to check your bottle before you buy, gotta make sure it isn't thick like mine was!

The Peace, Love & Color Collection will be available at Sally Beauty Supply stores and online at www.sallybeauty.com in May. They retail for $4.99 each!

  6. I knew that yellow would be prettttyyy! Do you have China Glaze's Lighthouse? I think that's the sparkly yellow from Anchors Away. Would you mind comparing the two? I think layered over a yellow would be FANTASTIC in the summertime. <3 cha!

They are a bit similar, but different colors of glitter. Could be a good alternative though!
