Today I have for you guys a mood polish, woohoo! I love mood polishes, I have an almost full drawer of them in my Helmer. Holo's, Duochromes and Mood Polishes are pretty much me weaknesses, I love them! Today's polish comes from a brand called In The Mood and is called Guilty. When I opened the package this polish was in my jaw dropped, Guilty is in-freakin-sane in the bottle, a dark purple with blue shimmer all over the place. I couldn't wait to put it on! And once on it did not disappoint! The purple never seemed to show on my nail but that's okay because what did show was gorgeous! Guilty changed from a light shimmer packed blue to a dark rich shimmery navy blue. The formula was great, it applied so smoothly and evenly...I'm pretty much in love with this polish in case you couldn't tell!
Guilty is 1 of the 3 new colors In The Mood has released for Spring...I'll have the other 2 coming up later this week. It is by far my favorite of the 3 though, I have to say this combo is unique in my drawer. I have a lot of light blue to dark blue mood polishes but nothing with the shimmer Guilty has, I wish my pictures could have captured how fab the shimmer is in real life!
In The Mood polishes retail for $8 and can be purchased on their official site at http://www.themoodpolish.com/
I used 2 coats of In The Mood Guilty for the pictures below! The color change was made using hot and cold water, but it changed a lot during the day on its own! It was crazy when I walked out of my air conditioned office outside since it was around 85 degrees the day I wore this, it was like instant dark blue to light blue. I kinda wanted to keep walking in and out of the office haha
Below is how it looked on me normally, aka all day while I was at work
Below is Guilty when it's warm, the shimmer is ridiculous...it's gorgeous. I wish it had stayed like this more often!
Below is what Guilty looks like mostly cold. I was dunking my fingers in ice water and it was so hot the day I was wearing this that it pretty much immediately turned back to the light blue warm color. It makes for a cool gradient! The cold parts are the pretty Navy blue!
