NOTD: Royal Unicorns!

Hi guys! Happy Saturday! I'm getting a late start today, I think I made up for all the sleep I missed during the last few weeks last night. I fell asleep around 7pm last night then woke up around 11pm and did a few things and went back to sleep until 9 this morning! I love when I catch up on sleep like that! I had some weird dreams too, like being on dancing with the stars, except there were no stars....instead it was a bunch of my nail blogging friends. It was a very strange dream, and I got voted off 2nd...you would think I would at least win in my own dream haha.

In other funnies that only lacquerheads will appreciate, my Dad came home this morning with 2 of his toe nails painted. He goes with my Mom every couple weeks and gets a pedicure...usually he just gets clear polish but today he came home his big toes painted gold with BLACK CRACK POLISH over it hahahaha. I don't think I have laughed so hard in a long time...I'm not kidding when I say I have turned my Dad into a bit of a PolishAholic! It was so cute when he got home, he was so excited to show me. I wish all my mornings started off with cute funny things like today! I was going to post the picture of his toes, but I know some people have feet issues so if you want to see below is a link to the picture. I would have loved to see how the conversation at the nail place went down when he asked them to do this....he said all the girls there thought it was funny!

Alright onto quite possibly my favorite mani I have ever worn. I've had this one for 3 days now and I'm pretty sad to take it off so I can swatch stuff today. On Wednesday night I finally picked up Revlon Royal....I've picked up and put down that polish countless time but finally bought it off the recommendation of Kari from Once Bitten! Royal is amazing, eventually I will swatch it on it's own. It's a gorgeous dark blue jelly. I put it on and was about to put on my top coat and be done when I saw my bottle of Clarins 230 sitting on my desk...so naturally I had to see what it would look like over Royal. Let me tell you, it's amazing. If I could only have 1 mani for the rest of my life I think I would pick this.

This is 2 coats of Revlon Royal topped with 2 coats of Clarins 230. Most of these pictures were taken under the craptastic lighting at work...any mani that looks this good under that kind of lighting is a total win in my book!
