Deborah Lippmann Naked

Good Morning guys! Anyone watch American Idol last night? I sure did not, once Haley went I lost interest. I liked Hayley, if she ever puts out and album I'd buy it! Instead of watching AI, I went to Lush last night. I was picking up some stuff I was out of plus a few goodies for July/August when I'm heading over to Vegas for Cosmoprof (eeek I am SO excited to get to go this year!)! Can I just say that I LOVE going into the Lush store near me, the girls that work there rule, they are so nice and knowledgeable about the products. It's such a nice change since usually everywhere employs people that are the exact opposite of how it is at Lush lol! For the first time ever I picked up a couple of the fresh face masks, last time I posted a Lush haul a few people recommended them! I was putting the Cupcake face mask into the fridge when Degen literally tried to tackle me to the ground to eat it, he didn't get it but it was funny!

Today I have for you guys Naked from Deborah Lippmann, this polish came out earlier this year for Spring. I finally bought it a few weeks ago, you know me...always on the hunt for the perfect nude polish. This doesn't give me mannequin hands but I sure do love it. It looks so clean, it's like the perfect palette cleanser. The formula was great, the polish was a little sheer but I believe it's supposed to be like that. Even being a little sheer I only needed 3 coats for full opacity! For a nude polish this is pretty pricey but it's nice to splurge once in a while, I don't regret buying this one!

sorry for the weird picture, I kept catching shadows on my nails and this was the loner keeper of all my photos

  2. I wonder if this is a nude that would actually work for me... my skin is the color of your average vampire's all year round with pink undertones.

  3. Have you ever tried OPI Tickle My France-y? That's my mannequin hands with two coats!

  4. I think this polish looks good on any skintone, from the swatches I've seen! It looks great on you.
I don't watch Idol, but Scotty is from Garner, which is a suburb of Raleigh - so of course it was all over the news that he won. It's bound to cause Scotty pandemonium here, it was bad when Clay was the runner up but this is going to be utter madness. *sigh*

  5. This colour is so pretty. It probably flatters most skin tones. I really should suck it up and buy some lippmann polishes..but I think my wallet will run away..since I want like 8...
