Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuschia

Hi guys! Friday is almost over, I have 2 hours and 24 minutes till I'm free for the weekend (not that I'm counting, okay I am shhh). Anyone have fun plans this weekend? I'm dragging my Dad to see Pirates of the Caribbean on Sunday. Okay, maybe not dragging him to see it, more like he was going anyway and I threatened bodily harm if he saw it without me. We're seeing the non 3-D version of it, I kinda feel like I'm alone in this but I really hate 3D movies, they give me motion sickness. Also, in case you have missed it (and I don't know how that would be possible) Zoya is having another promo. Here is a link to their blog to read about it: Zoya Promo! I figure you are probably sick of seeing it over and over and over so a link is good enough, right?

ok enough rambling for ya? Today another Kleancolor! This one is Chunky Holo Fuschia...same multichrome glitter in a fuschia base. This one was the most reminiscent (to me) of Unicorn Pee aka Clarins 230 in the bottle, not necessarily by the base color but more by the rainbow of color the bottle was giving off. Wouldn't you know the Kleancolor number for this one is also 230. I see what you're doing there Kleancolor! Since one of my favorite combos for Clarins 230 is over Revlon Royal I decided to layer this one that way. I'll let the pictures do the talking for this one. I used 2 coats of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Fuschia over Revlon Royal!

  1. So pretty! I really want to find a physical store to get these KCs from!

and I totally agree about the 3-D movies. I always feel terribly sick after sitting through one. Also, it's irritating as hell to have to wear those glasses on top of my actual glasses! Give me regular 2-D ANY DAY.

  3. I totally hate 3D movies! They make me motion sick too. Plus they are never worth the extra money. I'd rather save $5 and see the regular version and not end up feeling nauseous.

I hope you have fun seeing Pirates!

  4. It would be nice to see these on their own to get an idea of how the base looks.

Honestly, they don't look very great. My nails are way too stained at the moment to swatch them like that :/

I was thinking about going and seeing if any of the random stores around here that carry KC have these yet but I just haven't had time. Hopefully you can find them near you, save some money by not buying online!

That's exactly how I am with 3D, I can't enjoy the movie that way!

  10. Love these Kleancolor chunky holos. Thanks for the great swatches of all of them. Do you know if there is anywhere that you can buy them from that ships internationally?

Unfortunately there are none that I'm aware of, probably somewhere like ebay would be your best bet

  12. I loveee 3-D movies, but I can see why people wouldn't like them.

Also, this one is really pretty.
Too bad they didn't smush the glitter into shimmer though...that would have been awesome.

  13. All of these Kleancolor Glitters are gorgeous! And I completely agree about 3D movies too - I get so dizzy and sick-feeling.

  14. I didn't know there was a non-3D version. I find the glasses very annoying. Glad to know that fact. Love the holo. I've got to order some of these.

  16. If you're in a diverse metropolitan area, try the neighborhood beauty supply stores/hair/wig stores as that's where I discovered KleanColor polishes for around $1/ea. They usually have the large display rack but since they make so many shades there's no room for all of them but it's worth a try. I snagged the flakies, Aurora, Firework, etc., at a BSS near a gas station I frequent but haven't seen these yet. Good luck!

  17. Purdy purdy!! It does resemble 230 a little!

I'm with you on hating the 3D movies, they make me soooo sick!!

  18. Thanks for the swatches :)
I'm curious - are the "chunky holos" essentially all the same except for the sheer base color? I can't seem to find any swatches of the polishes ALONE/by themselves.

Oh, and agreed about 3D movies. WHY do theaters insist on promoting them?!

  19. I ordered Bluebell but I'm debating on whether on not to order Fushcia. Is it different enough from Bluebell that I would need both?

  20. @Minty

yes and no, the glitter flashes mostly the same colors but if you wear them on their own without a base color they are different enough to justify both. I guess it depends on how you are planning on wearing them!

  21. Okay, thank you so much! I ordered the Black instead. I like the big hex glitters and since I was going to layer the others, I guess it doesn't really matter to buy them all. Thanks again! (:
