Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Wicked Bamboo

Good Morning guys! Happy Friday!!! I'm gonna need this next week to go fast because I'm going to Vegas next Friday woooo! We're just going for a night, a short and sweet trip, but sometimes that's all the Vegas I need....especially since I'll be in Vegas again in a little over a month for Cosmoprof!

Today I have for you guys one of the new Sally Hansen Salon Effects designs called Wicked Bamboo. You have probably seen these in stores by now, I know I have. I've seen the new display all over the place...even Ulta which seems to be the last ones to ever put them out. This design is part of the Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen collection for Spring. I'm not sure if the other new Salon Effects designs are too, I just know this one for sure is! Wicked Bamboo is supposed to look like a bamboo floor, and well mission accomplished I think! I did have some problems applying some of these crooked and then not being able to fix it without ruing the decal but I think I can only blame myself for that...not the product! Overall I really like these ones, they are simple...I actually got more compliments on this design when I wore them than I have with any other kind of decals I've worn! Also, not sure why my hands are so lobster-y in these photos it wasn't in real life lol!

  1. I like this design, it's really simple, yet probably unexpected! I haven't tried any of these yet, although next time I go on a trip I will for sure!

  2. I love this design so much but have always passed on it because I *know* I wouldn't be able to put them on straight and I *know* that would drive me crazy!

  3. I can't find the new strips anywhere. We don't have an Ulta in NYC and they aren't on their website. What other places have you seen them at?

It definitely wasn't easy getting them on straight but I got the hang of it after a couple nails! Love the vertical line designs but they are a pain!

  11. Really cute design. I recall it from the photo preview you had awhile back. Don't feel back about your application ooops. Stripes are hard to do. I can remember when wallpaper was really popular and trying to do a wall in a stripe one....and that was on a flat surface which our fingernails are not! I think this might be one of the better designs of these expensive but fun SH not so faux, faux polish packs. This one looks really clean and not too pop, too teen, too faux - I could like this one more than just to buy it to try the process!
