Holo, Multichrome & Splatter...oh my!

Good Morning guys! Today I have for you guys a couple more splatter manis! Hopefully you aren't sick of them yet lol! I had both of these ideas floating around in my head for a while and finally un-lazied myself enough to do them! This post is a little picture heavy so I used a page jump (which hopefully works)!

First up is my Ozotic splatter mani. Multichromes are pretty much my favorite finish of polish so I knew I had to try this eventually! It was hard to pick what I was going to use for this, originally I had 5 different polishes I was going to use but I decided to go the less is more route and I'm so glad I did! I used OPI Black Onyx as my base and did the splatter with Ozotic 502 and Ozotic 505. This was flashing like a billion colors...gold, purple, green, blue, pink, orange. Amazing! I think I still like my CND Effects splatter is my favorite but this is a close second!

Tons more pics after the jump (which hopefully works, fingers crossed!)

Dark lighting but I love the way the splatter looks on my middle finger!

Now onto holo, I thought this would be such an amazing splatter...I was kinda wrong lol! This one is more of a fail but I still wanted to show it! I had some trouble with one of the polishes I decided to use...Nfu Oh 61. I would not recommend that. I cut the major fail finger out in most of the pictures but I left it in the last one.  When the Nfu Oh did decide to cooperate the result was pretty awesome!  This was hard to photograph, it did look better in real life!

I used BB Couture Carla as the base and OPI DS Glamour, OPI DS Original and Nfu Oh 61 for the splatter

Behold....massive fail nail! lol

Don't forget to check out my tutorial if you want to do this yourself!

  17. Agree with Amiee that the first pixs look like a great brocade old antique carpet bag or wonderful upholstery fabrication. So great for fall. I think this one is my fav of all your splatter manis. I thought at first you changed the entire polish shades for the last photos...but now seeing it's just what the holo did when you turned your hand into different lighting. I far more like the first holo looks vs. the ones where the silver jumps out...but knowing how holos work - you get what it gives in whatever light you are in! I so want some Nuf-ohs...I don't own one at all even with more than 550 polishes...ya would think i would have one by now! I just don't have access and have not studied them well enough to know what to put on my wish list. But I DO WISH you would bring these shades over to my house you used here and help me do my 2nd splatter mani!!!
