Island Girl Big Island Volcano

Good Morning, happy Friday! Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm doing mostly blog related things...but I am going to a concert tomorrow night. Neon Trees are playing at the OC Fair so a friend and I will be going and enjoying the show and all the horrible yet super yummy fair food. Did you know they have fried Kool Aid this year...what the heck! They had a little description of it in the paper and it sounds gross! I don't understand how the fry liquid things....I remember seeing fried Coca Cola at the fair one year...I'm still confused about that. Maybe they soak some dough in the liquid and fry that? I have no idea lol

Today I have for you guys another Island Girl polish, this one is Big Island Volcano. It's a kind of green turquoise with a secret silver shimmer. I was actually surprised that any of the shimmer shows in the photos because it was hard to see in person. The formula on this one was a little tricky, it was pretty streaky at first but nothing a thick coat of polish couldn't fix and even out. I used 2 coats for full opacity.

  8. The fair here just went up, too! Except I live two blocks from the fair grounds so I had to drive around for 20 minutes before I FINALLY found a place to park after I got off work yesterday. Boo!

Anyways, this is a gorgeous color. I really wish I'd gotten more IGs when i was in Hawaii!

  9. Very pretty, but too bright for me for most of what I need to wear unless I have time to change over. Cannot believe the weekend is almost here again already! I plan to work on my polish inventory project - making spread sheets of everthing and putting them all onto nail art wheels that will sit in the top of each box so I can fast find a shade I am looking for from the wheels laying on top - though my inventory plans for the spread sheet will also list what box # that shade is in.
