Island Girl Hawaiian Surf & Island Girl Aloha Surf

Goooooooooood Mornin! I am tired, I went to bed at like 3am then for some reason still woke up at 8am, that's not fair! Totally worth it though, if anyone follows me and Kirsten on twitter you probably know why. We were having a very strange conversation until the wee hours of the morning. We are weirdos, thats why I love her!

Today I have for you guys a couple more Island Girl polishes! First up is Hawaiian Surf a light blue, it almost looked minty green in some light but it is definitely a very light milky blue. It was kind of a streaky nightmare but since I was planning on layering over it I didn't really care. I used 3 coats of Hawaiian Surf for the photos below.

Over Hawaiian Surf I put Aloha Surf...it kinda looks like the small glitter version of Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday! Very festive! I used 2 coats over Hawaiian Surf for the photos below!

Also see what I mean about Hawaiian Surf looking minty green? It sure did after I put Aloha Surf over it!

Island Girl polish can be purchased at ABC Stores in Las Vegas and Hawaii. They do sell a small selection of shades on their website ABCStores.com but I don't know if these 2 are available to buy online or not.

  3. Too bad it's so streaky. It would be so pretty on it's own!

  8. I love pastels, but they're usually such a pain to apply. I like the glitter on top; have you tried to make a glitter sandwich? I think this combo would work great.

  9. Thanks everyone!!

    @Megan Harmeyer

    hmm that's a good idea. I think the blue might be too opaque but it would probably work with something like Rescue Beauty Lounge Bikini Bottom. I'm gonna have to try it!

  15. I love Aloha Surf! It definitely reminds me of Lippmann's Happy Birthday polish. Multi-glitter polishes just make me so darn happy!
