Starry Pink is a very light pale pink with silver glitter. It's filled with small round pieces of glitter and hex glitter. This color is seriously fabulous, it's not normally something I would be all crazy for but it is so soft and pretty and perfect! The formula was surprisingly pretty good...not too thick. It covered well and was more opaque than I expected. I usually have issues with Revlon bubbling on me but that didn't happen with Starry Pink. One thing I really loved about this polish is that is dried pretty smooth, there was a little texture but nothing crazy like with a lot of glitter packed polishes. I used 3 coats of Starry Pink for the photos below. The first 2 are in the sun and the 3rd and close up are in the shade!
So what do you think? I think my search of Target stores was worth it! So far I haven't seen these anywhere except for Target but I would guess that they will start showing up in other stores eventually!
I usually don't like pinks, but this seems pretty to me, looks like a layering!

It's a gorgeous color but don't think it would look good on me so I passed it up. Facets of Fuchsia was more my kind of color. It almost looks good enough to be a dupe for Deborah Lippman's Bad Romance so I can't wait to see you swatch that one!!! =D

ReplyDeleteI got this color at rite aid, and tried it on. It's great but the label on it and the stand at rite aid that it was called "popular" #230. I am positive it is starry pink though!

ReplyDeleteI found a bottle of Starry Pink in Wal Mart tonight.. only the name had been changed to Popular! I noticed it with a few other Revlons as well.. it's exactly the same! Weird.
