Good Morning guys! Today I have for you guys another new-ish collection! This one is the Garden Of Good And Evil Collection from Sephora by OPI. I'm not sure if this is this Fall Collection or what. I am missing 1 shade from it, Designer Fig Leaf, my Sephora was out of that color when I went...bummer!

Completely Fern-ishedis a gorgeous yellow toned army green. LOVE SO MUCH. Unfortunately for me and every other green lover out there this shade is only available in the mini set, that sucks. I would have bought the full sized bottle of this. This went on a little sheer on the first coat but I only used 2 coats for full opacity, it kind looks squishy...I like that!
Eve-y On The Eyes is a red toned purple with pink and blue shimmer. Meh...this looks a lot like the purple that came out with their Urban Ballerina collection. I haven't had a chance to compare them yet though. I do like this shade, I'm just tired of it from them. Good formula, I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Frankly I Don't Give A-Dam is a light brown toned grey. I do like this polish but again its something we've seen a lot of, I think it might be close to one of the grey's in OPI's Touring America Collection. I do laugh at the name though, I think that's my favorite part about this polish. I used 2 coats for the photo below.
My Personal Serpent is a very dark blackend blue creme. This almost seems like it wants to be a jelly. I love this polish! It did have a tendency to look black but out in the sun it definitely looks blue! Great formula on this one, I used 2 coats!
Sin-cerely Violet is a light lavender with a golden shimmer running throughout. I realllllllly thought I would love this, wrong. It goes a little to much to the frostalicious side for me to love, maybe my hopes were too high for it since it looked pretty in the bottle. I need them to make a non-frosty version of this please! Like Hell To The No except this kind of light lavender. Besides the frosty part the formula was ok, it did dry with brush strokes but it wasn't as bad as some other polishes I can think of. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
Tempted by Teal is a metallic teal. I can't decide if I like this or not, I keep going back and forth...it was a little too brush stroke-y but the color is gorgeous! The formula was good, I used 2 coats for the photos below.
What's Your Poison? is a red jelly packede with red and silver glitter. This is probably my favorite out of all of these! I hear it's a dupe to a polish Sephora by OPI put out a little while ago called Merry Me but I don't have that one to compare. Dupe or not, I love it! The formula was great for this kind of polish, it went on easily and I didn't have problems with bald spot or the glitter wanting to drag when I put on another coat of polish. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
This collection is available now in Sephora stores and on their website, the mini set retails for $18 and the full sized bottles are $9.50 each!

What a great collection! Nice swatches!
ReplyDeleteLove the green! And I think I really like the teal? it's so mermaid ish!
ReplyDeleteAm digging the fern green! Plus I signed up for the julep maven box! Hope it's as cool as you say!
ReplyDeleteI had such high hopes for Sin-cerely but the frostiness is not *me* either.
ReplyDeleteWhat's Your Poison is a dupe for Merry Me, from the most recent holiday collection I think, but hey I'm glad I have a backup, and another cutesey name hehe.
What a gorrrrgeous green!! I've been loving Tough Art to Follow from Finger Paints, which is a fabulous squishy creme with that jelly feel, and similar to this color though it's quite a bit darker. Nothing like OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow, but still deep, and I'm loving this mid-toned army green range :)
I really love the second one! A amazing dark blue... I really love it!
ReplyDeleteThe grey polish is also pretty, a beautiful colour.
AH I'm so glad you covered this collection! I've been wanting What's Your Poison since I found about it, but wasn't sure about the other ones. I think I might pick up the teal too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love green and blue! :D kiss
ReplyDeleteXoXo
Not sure how I am feeling about these. Guess that's why I didn't buy when I saw them @Sephora last week. I have Merry Me and I want to say it is a hair redder than What's Your Poison but not by much and without the silver glitter. I like the silver glitter in What's Your Poison ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swatches! This will definitely help me decide which ones to get....
ReplyDeleteI saw these at Sephora when I went there the other day. The only ones I really liked were Tempted By Teal and What's Your Poison? I tried on both and I liked how they looked. I don't have a color like Tempted By Teal so I was actually very tempted to buy it. But for What's Your Poison I thought it was similar to my China Glaze Mrs. Claus polish so I didn't get it. I looked up swatches of both and I guess I was wrong. They have different red tones and the glitter seems different. But it still reminded me of a Christmas polish. As for the other colors they didn't stand out to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm really underwhelmed by this collection. Sin-cerely Violet sounds promising but OMG frosty! And I kinda feel the same way about Tempted by Teal. The only one that really catches my eye is What's Your Poison? but I usually end up disappointed by glitter bombs. *meh*
ReplyDeletei love the dark blue :)
ReplyDeleteThese swatches are beautiful and they all look like awesome colors. I think I might be passing on this collection. I like "What's Your Poison" the best though.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally the opposite! I thought I was going to die when I saw What's Your Poison online but when it arrived I just wasn't as impresses. Eve-y on the Eyes is purple so I had to have it. And if Sin-cerely Violet didn't show brush strokes I'd recommend it to everyone. I have to say this aside from these 3 & the metallic teal almost all the other colors are similar to colors in other fall collections so I wasn't floored by them.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I need What's Your Poison? asap!
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will sell these in eBay because those Sephora collections are not available in my country :/
These are all really pretty! I especially like What's Your Poison and My Personal Serpent!
ReplyDeleteI really like the blue and the green! But I feel like these colors are kind of everywhere this fall.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE what's your poison!
ReplyDeleteI really like What's Your Poison, but these are a bit pricey for me and there's no Sephora near me, so I doubt I'll get my hands on it.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, I love What's Your Poison. Polish is my poison! Anyway lol, Sin-cerely would be great if it were a pearl. :(
ReplyDeleteThose colors look awesome! My favorites are Completely Fern-ished and My Personal Serpent. I can't help it, but I really love most of this year's fall collections even more than the summer colors... Too many gorgeous fall colors to get them all unfortunately ;)
ReplyDeleteSo I swatched Tempted By Teal today and could not get the polish off my fingers. My cuticles and skin are still stained. Has this happened to anyone else?
ReplyDeleteWhat's your poison is the most beautiful color!! I got it back when they very first came out and I still love it just as much today. I don't think any pictures of it even do it justice even though it looks nice in them, it looks that much better in person!
