Today I have for you guys the gorgeous Foiled collection from Color Club! I love a good foil polish so when I saw these at Cosmoprof I got really excited! It you click on the word Cosmoprof over there you it will take you to the post where I first talked about these, I just went back and had a laugh at it because the PR image I posted has completely wrong names under most of the polishes...how weird! Here is a little collage of all of them for you, click the read more link below for more pictures and my ramblings about all the shades!
Before I get started on the individual polished I wanted to let you guys know the formula on all 6 polishes was outstanding. These all went on amazingly with 2 coats, a couple of the darker ones would have even been good with only one coat. Now you don't have to read that over and over 6 times!
First up is Antiquated, it is a kind of nude/gold. Out of all of the polishes this was my least favorite, I just don't love gold-ish polish very much. However, I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would!
Shade
Cold Metal is a bright electric blue, this might be close to OPI Swimsuit...Nailed It! But I haven't had time to compare them yet. This one I almost left at 1 coat, the coverage was amazing. This polish is so dreamy and amazing!
Shade (a little blurry...sorry!)
Foil Me Once is a light pink, it has a little hint of purple in there also. I love this one! It reminds me of wrapping paper my elementary school used to make us sell during the holidays. Did you guys ever have to do that? I never sold any of it but I always loved those little pieces of wrapping paper in the back.
Shade
Hot Like Lava is a bright pink, easily my favorite of the collection! This is the one I ended up putting back on when I was done swatching the collection!
Shade
Lumin-icecent is a light icy blue. I was a teesy bit let down by this one, it was my favorite in the bottle when I saw it at Cosmoprof but once I got it on I just didn't care for how light it was on me. I think I'm too pale and ghostly to rock this shade :( It is gorgeous though, and the most mirror looking out of any of these.
Shade
Perfect Molten is a light silvery green! This one is so fab, I don't have another polish like this. I don't have too many foil polishes in my stash so a gorgeous green like this is a very welcome addition.

So what do you guys think? I am in love with this collection, like I said at the beginning the formula on every single shade was flawless and the colors are gorgeous! My favorites are Perfect Molten, Hot Like Lava and Foil Me Once! I am cooking up a way to use all of these in one mani, a splatter mani might be coming soon for these beauties!
These are available now, a few of the e-tailers have them up. My personal favorite of the e-tailer bunch is Victoria Nail Supply. You can also buy them directly from Color Club on their website, however it doesn't look like this collection is up yet in their store. Last but not least, I have heard from a few people that this collection has been showing up at Ross. At Cosmoprof I was told that new Color Club collections wouldn't be there anymore but that doesn't seem to be true, yay! Just in case it is true I suggest you go try and find it there quick before it's gone!

I got the Lumin-icescent and perfect molten for stamping-and they are awesome for that!
ReplyDeleteI never see Color Club at Ross, its a rare occurrence. So when I saw this I snatched it right up. Only to realize that the green was broken and all the polish was dry and gooey. I bought it anyway since I probably would never see this again.
ReplyDeleteGood to know they are good with stamping.
I think those are beautiful. I'm always jealous of people who can get these at Ross since we don't have that here.
ReplyDeleteYour swatches are my favorite!!! Love Hot Like Lava!! :)

ReplyDeleteI have a Ross near me and half the time they don't get collections, or people have taken the polishes out and shuffled them around so the wrong polishes are in the sets. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi ♥
ReplyDeleteI use to not be a big fan of them either, but they have really grown on me in the past few months!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out that China Glaze, I don't own that one!
ReplyDeleteI just found these today at Ross - yay! I can't wait to wear them. And last week at Sally's Beauty I came across the green foil and the gold foil polishes under different names and they had pine tree scent and gingerbread scent to them when dry. I painted the foil collection ones on a bag today when I got home and they don't have any scent when dry. They look nice!
ReplyDeleteYes, same thing happens at the Ross across the street from me. One Wednesday morning I found them unpacking nail polish and putting it on the shelf so now I check Ross on Wednesday afternoon or morning before they get messed up. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI just found this collection and the Beyond the Mistletoe Collection at Ross if anyone is still interested! They also had the Back to Boho collection!
