Deborah Lippmann Footloose Collection Swatches

Good morning!! Today I have a few more new Deborah Lippmann polishes to show you guys! See what I meant about Deborah putting out a ton of stuff right now! Today's polishes are exclusive to HSN for the movie Footloose. I actually saw the movie a couple weeks ago and didn't love it but I love these polishes!

Click the read more button for more photos and reviews of each shade!

Almost Paradise is a light pistachio green. This is the polish I was most looking forward to from these sets. I don't think I actually have anything like this, I have a lot of green but nothing this shade of green! This shade was inspired by the VW Beetle in both the original and remake that recently came out! The formula on this was a bit streaky, I kind of expected it with a shade like this though. I used 3 coats to even everything out!

Dancing In The Sheets is a gorgeous dark blue shimmer. The base of this polish is a very deep purple that is packed with blue shimmer. You can see the purple really well on the first coat but with the second coat it just looks blue. I thought it the shade it might be duochome, but nope :( This polish was inspired by the prom after the dancing ban was lifted! I really like this one but I think it might have some dupes, Orly Royal Velvet comes to mind. I haven't had a chance to see if they are very close though. The formula was great, I used 2 coats for full opacity.

Footloose is a bright red creme. In the info I got about this it said it was a sheer so I thought it would be a jelly but it was actually pretty opaque! To be honest, I wasn't very excited about this shade but then I put it on and I'm kind of in love with it now! The shade was inspired by Ariel's (Julianne Hough's character) red cowboy boots in the movie! Formula wise this was nice and opaque and it applied beautifully, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Let's Hear It For The Boy is a pale light blue. LOVE! I'm such a sucker for a nice light blue, I've actually worn this a few times both on it's own and with other polishes layered over it. It's pretty awesome! This one was inspired by Acid Wash jeans! The formula was great, no issues with it being streaky or anything like that. I used 2 coats for the photos below!

Overall I really love all 4 polishes, my easy favorite is Almost Paradise closely followed by Let's Hear It For The Boy.

All four of these polishes are available exclusively on HSN. They come in 2 separate sets, each set retails for $32. One set is Almost Paradise and Footloose, the other is Let's Hear It For The Boy and Dancing In The Sheets. You can check them out here!

And just so you can all suffer with me, I have had this song stuck in my head for like 2 weeks because of this collection lol!

  2. OMG I need 'Let's Hear it for the Boy' not only because it's a gorgeous light blue, but because when my mom and dad first got married, they got that record and my dad played it NONSTOP so she had to hide it from him.. now it's a running joke in our family, 'Let's Hear it for the Bill' hahaha this colletion is so fab!

  3. Huh, those are really pretty but I feel like the only difficult to dupe one would be Almost Paradise.

Oooh, that green is gorgeous. It reminds of of the color of spearmint gum.

  7. Nothing I am desperate to pay $16 for. I cannot wear the light blues at all - the green would run into the same problem with my skin tone. I have a bunch of blues that are like the one coat purple turns blue with full 2 coat coverage - and the red - well I adore reds but this one is not reading to me 'take me home!'

  8. How does that powder blue compare to Essie's Borrowed and Blue?

  9. I really love Let's Hear It For The Boy, but I really hope that there's a dupe for it!

  11. Blue-Away and Jade Julep from the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri look pretty similar. The Jade might be a little bit more of a pastel than the DL polish.
