My Black Friday NOTD

Hi guys! Hope you all have a good Sunday, just a quick post today! I wore this out during my Black Friday shopping, I like it so much that I actually just re-did the mani since I took it off to swatch some stuff yesterday. It's never too early for a Christmas-y mani, right?!?

I did a glitter sandwich using Sally Hansen Smooth And Perfect in Fog and China Glaze Party Hearty. I'm a bit on the fence about that Sally Hansen, it's one of the new ones they just came out with, it's an off white with a bit of a shimmer. It's very sheer, I think it would probably take 4 coats to be opaque. I doubt I'll ever wear it that way, it's great for glitter sandwiches like this though! I really love this combo, I might wear it again for Christmas...we'll see!

  2. I just picked up Fog the other day and am torn about it as well - it's kinda pearly in my eyes - but like this?!?! I love it!  Thanks for posting - can't wait to try it & other combos!

  5. I LOVE this! Lovely, as always! I just got out my Party Heart to do a similar jelly sammich! Except I'll use OPI Timeless is More. I can't wait to use PH because I got it in January of last year so I've never worn it.

Oooh!  I like!  I love glitter sammiches - the beauty of glitter without it being so in-your-face.

  35. I had Fog on my nails for 2 shorts days -- I applied 3 thick coats & it ended up starting to peel after a while. i wasn't too stoked about the color either, but your combo is stunning!

  38. I bought the purple in this line which is called Whisper and glitter sandwiched it with Sally's GEM Crush in Bejeweled.  It came out okay but I agree with you that you have to apply at least 4 layers of the Smooth & Perfect color lines before the color really stands out by itself.  I loved how you used the Fog!!!
