Nubar Jeans Collection Swatches

Happy Wednesday, it's my Friday today! I love four day weekends! Today I have the Nubar Jeans Collection to show you guys. They put these out a little bit ago, supposedly they are dupes to that Chanel Les Jeans de Chanel Collection that also came out a little while back. All I know, is they are pretty blues and I would have bought them either way lol! Click the read more button below for swatches and reviews of each shade!

Boyfriend Jeans is a faded out medium blue. This is my favorite of the three polishes! It's nice and opaque in two coats but dries with a squishy super shiny look to it! Great formula, I used 2 coats for the photos below. This is the one that is supposed to be a dupe of Blue Boy, not sure if it is...but it's close enough for me!

Dark Wash Jeans is a dark navy blue. This one is a supposed dupe of Blue Rebel, again...not sure if it 100% is, but it's close enough for me. This one had the same kind of formula, nice and opaque and it dried shiny and squishy looking. This was shiny like whoa when dry, you can see what I mean in my pictures, pretty much everything reflected off my nails haha....I think you can even see the clouds in the sky! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Faded Jeans is a light blue with a subtle silver shimmer running throughout it. It is comparable to Coco Blue, this one does seem a bit different (to my eyes anyway). Faded Jeans seems to have a lot more noticeable shimmer. I much prefer this to the Chanel version, I don't always like needing a magnifying glass to see shimmer. The formula was a bit weird on this one, it was opaque in 2 coats but it kept looking lumpy. A top coat leveled it all out though.

Overall I really like all 3 polishes, I can't say for sure if they are dupes of the Chanel polishes. I about died when I saw the $29 a bottle price tag on the Chanel polishes so I never bought them. I'm glad Nubar put out very similar looking polishes with a much more reasonable price!

If you wanted the Chanel Les Jeans de Chanel Collection but didn't want to fork over the cash this is a great alternative. You can purchase Nubar on their official website or from Harlow & Co. (also ebay and the like, though I haven't searched for this set lately)

  5. Definitely picking these up.

  6. I bought Coco Blue because I had to have it, but the others I will buy close dupes for.

  7. I love these blues! Where can I purchase these?

  8. I got these for a friend cause they're similar-ish to the Chanel ones. Neat swatches!

  9. There are links at the bottom of the post for where to buy them :)

  10. I bought the 2 darker ones. Have not seen them yet as I am stuck out of town for another 3 weeks post op before i can head home. I did seen someone do a side by side comparison & these really do line up as dupes to the big C. Nubar wears really well for me and Chanel does not at all. I too flipped when I saw the $29 bottle price on Chanel. They will be at $32/bottle really soon I hear. Thanks for the great swatches. I cannot wait to get home and try my 2.

  11. Love all three! So glad I skipped the Chanel ones, these are just as good! I especially love Boyfriend Jeans, I'm a sucker for dusty blue polishes =)

  12. love em all!! I just found them on sale =D
