Glitter Gal Lizard Belly

Good morning guys! Can you believe it's already December?!? This past year has gone so fast, it's ridiculous! Last night I went to the yummy food trucks that gather around here on Wednesday nights, there were a lot of good ones but I ended up at BaconMania! If you follow me on Twitter you probably saw part of what I got...brownies, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. It was like 15 kinds of amazing and delicious. I will probably never eat it again for fear of dying of a heart attack but OMG it was so good!

Today I have an awesome holo to show you guys, this was a surprise from my love Kirsten! She's the best, seriously...if you don't follow her blog you are nuts. Glitter Gal Lizard Belly was on my list of polishes I needed for a few months but it was always out of stock on the US e-tailers. Lizard Belly is a very dark blackened green with an insane linear holo. This is what I'm talking about!! The holo in this super strong, and a pain in the rear to get a good picture of. All the pictures where the holo was true to life were all blurry and the base color was blown out. If you get this I promise, it's a million times better in real life! The formula was fantastic, all of the Glitter Gal holo's I've tried have been! I used 2 coats for full coverage, I had no issues with dragging or bald spots like with some holo's (i'm looking at you Nfu Oh and Gosh).  My only compliant: the bottle is so small :(

Glitter Gal is available on a bunch of great e-tailers including Harlow & Co., Overall Beautyllarowe and Glitter Gal's Official website. They are pricey at about $14 for a .3oz bottle, but if you love linear holo's it is very much worth it in my opinion!

Hi and thanks so much for taking the time to review Lizard Belly.  It's one of our favourites too.  Larger bottles will be available early next year :).  Thanks again, Kerry and Anna from Glitter Gal.

  12. That is great news! I can't wait for the larger bottles!

  13. A colleague gave me this recently and was stunned when I screamed "OMG Lizard Belly!"

  14. Ah! Here we go. Never mind. So, yea....very pretty. My dad had lizards when we grew up and this is pretty accurate.

  15. Beautiful color!!! :D These type of holo polishes are always so eye-catching. ^^

  16. this is so cool!!!I love it a looks great

  17. I HAD to get this color, purely for the name (my son wants to study reptiles when he grows up), but it is a gorgeous color!!!

AND unless I'm mistaken, Glitter Gal is resizing ALL their bottles to full size! They just had a contest to rename the "plain name" polishes (red glitter, black glitter, etc). I don't think they are the only ones being resized. I'm so excited because I wanted to buy at least one more bottle of Lizard Belly (which makes me giggle when I say it). My son has even been tempted to let me paint one nail in this shade--that green is just awesomesauce!

I don't know if the price will be going up, but their polishes are something amazing, so it's worth it to me ;)

Leah is a sweetheart, and so is Kim!

  18. Looks great on you! I just got Glitter Gals in Frappe and Dark Purple... now I'm inspired to try them soon! *eyes overflowing untrieds bin*
