Just so I don't have to say it over and over, formula wise with the exception of Hefesto these were all a bit thick but very easy to work with and apply...they were a good kind of thick lol. They applied a bit sheer, I used 3 coats for all the swatches (again with the exception of Hefesto), not all of them needed 3 coats but they looked better that way!
Afrodite is a bright pink holo, I would almost call this hot pink but it's not quite bright enough. The holo isn't this wasn't too terribly strong, one of the weaker in the bunch but still gorgeous!
Apolo is a bright blue holo, like a marine kind of blue. This is awesome, it was love at first brush stroke haha! When I saw this in the bottle I was hoping it might be a dupe for my beloved OPI DS Glamour, no luck there but I think I might actually like this better!
Ares is a red holo! This one is very similar to Glitter Gal's 3D Red Holo, maybe a bit more of an orangey red. If you like red holos you will love this, it's so much better in real life. For some reason my camera has problems capturing red holos.
Artemis is a silvery holo. This one is not my favorite, the base is a bit frosty and it seems like it eats the holo up...like the rainbow can't power through. (did anyone else just picture a bunch of Care Bears doing the Care Bear Stare? lol) Anyway, not my favorite but pretty nonetheless!
Atena is a magenta pink holo. This is my surprise favorite of the collection, the holo is super strong in this one and it is absolutely stunning on. I don't have much to say about this one other than it rules!
| This picture is a little dark, but look at that holo!! |
Deméter is a squishy orange holo! I don't think I have an orange holo so this is a welcome addition to my stash! The holo in this wasn't super strong but much better in real life than in pictures!
Dionisio is a grape purple holo, another favorite! This one has a super strong holo also, again not much to say...pictures do the talking!
Hefesto is like a holo topcoat, all the awesome of the holo glitter put into an almost clear base. You could wear this on it's own if you wanted to but I decided to have a little fun layering experiment instead. One thing I have always wanted is a bright yellow holo, it doesn't exist but now it can with this! The first picture is 1 coat of Hefesto over Cult Nails Feel Me Up. For the second photo I wanted to see how crazy holo it could be so I put it over a dark color, Nicole by OPI Khloé Had A Little Lam Lam. I want to layer this over everything, next on my list...white.

Hermes is a gold holo. This one is missing from the collage at the beginning of this post, because it was impossible to photograph! This one has the same problem as Artemis did, a frosty base that eats the holo a little bit. It was better in person but it's probably my least favorite out of all of these. Sorry for the weird angles in these photos, these were literally the only 2 pictures out of almost 200 that showed the holo.
Hestia is a purple toned pink holo. In the bottle it looks lilac but once on it turns a bit more pink. This was the first polish I swatched when I got these and my eyes almost popped out of my head due to how crazy awesome it is! The first photo below is direct sunlight, the second is in my lightbox...it shows the holo a bit better.
Poseidon is a light blue holo. This one had one of the strongest holo effects, I almost couldn't believe my eyes! The first picture below is in my lightbox, it more accurately shows the holo...the second picture is in direct sunlight.
Zeus is a black holo. For a long time I have wanted the original version of OPI My Private Jet, because of Zeus I no longer *need* that polish. This might be the most perfect black holo that I have come across. I really love that the base is so squishy looking with this one, it really is perfection!
Overall this collection is a holo lovers dream. My personal favorites are Apolo, Atena, Hera, Zeus, Hefesto and Dionisio. I really do love pretty much all of them, the only 2 I'd pass on are Artemis and Hermes...I just don't care for the frosty base on those two.
The Speciallitá Hits No Olimpo polishes are available on their website, it's in Portuguese but it's easy to navigate. You can also buy them on shop.llarowe.com. I'm not sure with the exchange rate and cost of shipping if it's cheaper to get them from the official website or Llarowe. It looks like Speciallitá is actually on vacation right now until January 4th for the holidays so if you want them now Llarowe is the way to go!

Good Lord, these all look amazeballs.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for this awesome post =) it's great to see all the colours together.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, they look stunning!!! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI really like these holos because it gives people a chance who have not been able to try the OPI DS to own their own holos. They are affordable, and if you order through Llarowe, you know you're getting really amazing CS. Atena looks pretty similar to OPI DS Exclusive, which goes for laughable amounts on eBay, and you can get it for a fraction of the price! All of them look wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to show them to us!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so gorgeous! Zeus is definitely a must!
ReplyDeleteUgg....I've wanted these for weeks now, and looking through your swatches I said to myself, "oh, I think I'll get this one, and this one....oh and this one..." until I realized I wanted them all!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally LOL'd over Care Bear stare!
Omg!!! These are so pretty!!! I love them all, but Afrodite, Atena, Hestia, and Poseidon are my faves. Thanks for sharing ;0)

ReplyDeleteeuhm.... I love them ALL!!!!!
They're very expensive on Llarowe ! I'm Brazilian and love your blog, but I think than it's better buy on Speciallitá website. Also, on Specialittá, there's the Multigirl collection and otters pretty good collections. Hope you guys like it !

*drool* I can't wait until January when I have money to spend on nail polish again. I want these so bad!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as i read todays blog entry i HAD to get a bottle.. So i ordered Atena.. LOVE the colour!! Thanks =)
ReplyDeleteOMG these are gorgeous! Ordering now. I have been happy so far purchasing from L Larowe. I bought my GLitter Gal polishes from them.
ReplyDeleteOh my God ♥
ReplyDeleteIs there any shop who ships international? ♥
Just remember that these polishes aren't 3-free: they contain toluene and formaldehyde =/. I'm brazilian and allergic, so I can't use them ¬¬
ReplyDeleteI included links for where to buy them at the bottom of the post
ReplyDeleteVampy Varnish posted some swatches a couple of days back and in the comments there was reader feedback as to the shipping charges. It will cost $30 for shipping from Brazil. LLarowe charges $1.71. So about twelve dollars vs. $34. It's why I get my Glitter Gals from her instead of Australia. International shipping is really expensive.
ReplyDeleteWOW these are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks to bringing all the colors to one place, it makes it so much easier to make up my mind. I had already ordered Zeus, but now ordering Atena and a few others that you suggested! Great post!
ReplyDeletethanks for posting this!!! I am always on the hunt for holographic nail polishes ever since I missed the OMG collection.. I have the Gosh holographic and hyper haute from the Tronica collection and that is it .. I will def. have to snag some of these polishes!! Btw .. do u prefer to take your pictures in a light box in with natural light? I always prefer natural light in the shade, but since it gets dark so early I need to figure out a way to still take pics for my blog and your pics in the lightbox turned out amazing!!! Any tips? Or where did you buy ur lightbox from and what type of lighting do u use?
ReplyDeleteOMG, Zeus!!! *faints* Thanks for all your hard work! These swatches are GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI'm dumbstruck! I'm from Brazil and I LOVE these nail polishes... this is one of my fave brands... this collection is perfect, stunning! Yeah, we usually call it Hits... Apart from Hermes and Hestia, I love all the others.

ReplyDeleteSO jealous! These are incredible!
ReplyDeletei could stare at these swatches all day long!!! all of them are beautiful!! you lucky girl!

ReplyDeleteDefinitely need Dionisio and Hefesto in my collection now!
ReplyDeleteLove your swatches and love these polishes. Next time I feel I have to spoil myself I know with what I'll be doing so!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I want like.. all of these. I feel so sad when I realize I don't have the money to buy all the lovely polishes I want :(
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a gorgeous collection! I rarely see red, orange & yellow holos but these are gorgeous! Your swatches are wonderful! You capture the right lighting & detail :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I neeeeed Hefesto. These are all really amazing, though, omg. How many nail polishes do you own?! You should seriously take a picture of your collection, haha. I'd be curious to see how massive it is xD
ReplyDeleteYour blog is very interesting, I like it very much, you can welcome to have a look uggs sparkle, I hope you will like it
ReplyDeleteThese have Toulene and Formaldehyde in them. So I was all excited until I saw that, but now, I'm gonna pass. :(
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing collection! I am wondering, is Apolo a dupe or close to Glitter Gal's Marine Blue??
ReplyDeleteI think it ends up being cheaper to order them from Llarowe unless you have a swap buddy in Brazil. The shipping is crazy expensive from them. From Llarowe it ends up being 130 and from Speciallita I think it was going to cost me 170, or at least that's what the website quote said. And ladies have ordered from them but can't get any response.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful!!
