Good morning!! Today I have my very first Lynnderella polish EVER to show you guys, if you read nail blogs I know you've heard of these beauties before. Until I bought this polish and put it on I really did not get the hype over Lynnderella polishes....happy to say I get it now (my wallet is not happy about this though). For my first ever Lynnderella's I got the one I'm showing you today, Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue, and Snow Angel which I haven't worn yet. Since then I've bought 4 more that I'm waiting for...they are like crack...I need more.
Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue is described by Lynnderella as "glitter in all shades of blue: turquoise, navy, royal, periwinkle along with blue-violet and violet. Squares, hexagons and micro-glitter in a luscious cornflower blue base". I'm sure you could get this opaque on it's own if you wanted to, but removing that frightened me so I layered it. I used 1 coat of Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue over Revlon Royal for the photos below.

I'm not huge fan of how this looked in the sun but I figure some of you would like to see how it looks anyway :)

As far as availability goes, these are a bit hard to come by. Lynnderella has a blog
here that she sells her polishes on every once in a while. It's only open for a very short amount of time and those times are few and far between. I know she is supposed have her polishes up for sale again soon but I'm not sure exactly when that will be. You can also buy Lynnderella polishes on
Llarowe but they are all sold out right now and apparently it's going to be a while before she re-stocks also :(

ReplyDeleteOmggggg. I love Lynnderella! I wore Snow Angel the other day. It's the prettiest white ever. I layered it over Orly Au Champagne... so pretty!

ReplyDeleteHi, I love your blog, I pop in a couple times a week to see what is going on. I would really love it if you would let us know how much the polishes cost, or at lease a price range. Also, since your fans are everywhere, I whish you would let us know where you buy your polishes and which retalilers might carry them. I realize you may not have all that information, but it would be helpful :) Keep on painting :)

I almost got this one, but my wallet put it's foot down & said "NO" to Bibbitty Bobbitty Blue & Very Pretty Vampire. *sad face* I did still manage to get 6 others, so I can't be sad for too long. So far I've worn 4 of them: Cauldron Drippings (fabulous Halloween mani worn over Nina Tangerine Dream, w/ accent nails in Sinful Let's Talk), Gotta Love Brains (over Confetti Lonesome Dove), Mercury's Rainbow (over Sinful Secret Admirer), The Glittering Crowd (over Sonia Kashuk Smoke & Mirrors for a blingtastic New Year's Eve mani). I also have She Lives in a Swamp & Snow Angel, but haven't worn them yet. I plan on wearing Snow Angel next, probably over Essie Marshmallow. PS I just want to add, I love your blog. Seriously, I come here every day, sometimes multiple times, just looking at swatches, checking out older colors in the archives. I'm sure it's a lot of work, but I just want to let you know how much I enjoy it! Cheers!

They are so beautiful, I can't blame you too much if that's the case! But she definitely lists how much polishes cost (sometimes she even includeds coupon codes or discounts!) and where to find them. ReplyDeletePretty!! At first I didn't get the hype over the Lynnderellas but the more I see them swatched, the more I like. I've been lemming Change for quite awhile now...I may just have to buy it in some nail polish jewelry on Etsy since it seems like it's gonna be awhile before I can get my hands on it.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if it would look better over a black base? I mean, it looks awesome in the shade, but I wonder if the contrast of a black base would make it pop more in the sun? Just a thought! :)
