Since the formula on these is very consistent for the cremes I'll mention it up here instead of repeating myself over and over lol. All 5 creme polishes are on the thick side...not the hard to work with kind thick, the perfect and easy to apply kind. They are so easy to apply and go on so smoothly. I used 2 coats for all the cremes. I can't rave enough about them, if you like creme polishes and have never tried out Misa you are missing out!
Bed Of Roses is a squishy medium pink jelly. This is nice and bright without being hot pink, when I think of bright pinks for spring this is what I imagine. I've never actually tried a Misa jelly before...I don't know if they even make any others. The formula was okay, a little on the thick side. I used 3 coats for the photos below. I could still see a little bit of my nail line so next time I'll probably use 4 coats. If you get this it's best to wait a couple of minutes between each coat, I didn't at first and it was a mess!

Deep Breath is a light grey creme. Misa called this a periwinkle, I don't see that but it does have some blue undertones. Maybe it will look more periwinkle on a different skin tone?
Shade
Little Hands is a light pastel blue. According to Misa this is a mint green...much like Deep Breath maybe it will look like the color Misa says it is on another skin tone? On my ghostly irish skin it pulls very very blue, and I love that haha. This is my favorite of the collection, I love light blues and this is my new favorite by far due to the great formula!
shade...boo lobster hands! I guess that proves that there is some green in there somewhere LOL
Pinky Promise is a very soft light pink. If you've been looking for that perfect ballet slipper pink this might be it! I'm not one to like soft pinks like this but I love this! It seems like there might be the slighest bit of a lilac-y undertone going on here, perhaps that's why I like it so much!
Shade
Someone Like You is a creamy beige with pink undertones. Love this...yep, I'm still obsessed with nude polishes haha! Also, I blame this polish for having Adele's Someone Like You song stuck in my head all day on Sunday...I apologize if you now also have that stuck in your head ;)

Overall I love this collection, it might not be everyone's cup of tea and yep I'm sure these colors have all been done....but I will always pick a Misa creme over any other brand. Bed of Roses was a surprise favorite for me, it's the perfect spring pink and the unexpected jelly was a nice surprise!
The Precious Moments Collection is available now, you can purchase it on Misa's website for $7.50 each. Some of the etailers also carry Misa, I usually buy mine from Transdesign...however it doesn't look like this have this collection yet.
I leave you with the first thing I thought of when I saw what this collection was called. I know I can't be alone in thinking of these. You all need to go read this blog post where I found the photo below. I had no idea there was a place like this. How creepy...and awesome haha. If I ever find myself in Missouri for some odd reason I know where I'll be stopping.

YES that's what is up. I love Misa and I was waiting for some swatches of this set, even though I plan to buy them anyways!
ReplyDeleteBed Of Roses and Little Hands are my favourites! :)
ReplyDeleteSweet Thing reminds me of CG Sweet Hook. Not that that is a bad thing! These are all lovely colors, I would definitely wear them. =)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of these! These colors are a nice antidote to all the crazy glitters right now. Thanks so much for posting this new collex!
ReplyDeleteLucky me, I won't buy any of these... the colors are boring =/
ReplyDeleteI want Bed of Roses and Sweet Thing! Will my wishlist ever stop growing? And Precious Moments, for sure what I thought of! I waffle back and forth on whether they're creepy or cute. :)
ReplyDeletethey all look great. it's going to be warmer soon and those colours will make a comeback :)
ReplyDeleteI think I just drooled a bit... I want these all!
ReplyDeleteWell based on your recommendation to anyone that loooves cremes, I think I'm sold. Little hands looks lovely and even though I have shades similar to sweet thing, I've been on the lookout for polishes to complete an ombre mani!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great swatches (as usual)!
I hate clowns. I hate PM. Now I have to dream about PM Clowns! LOL
ReplyDeleteI have actually been to the Precious Moments Chapel! It's pretty awesome actually! I loved it! And I love those swatches! :D
ReplyDeleteThese as a collection, all look so pretty together. However, I don't think any are that unique that I need them. I am trying to really get hard nosed this year on what my stash needs as I have to figure out storage and what I should or should not do with a whole lot of polishes. I just did a database of dupes and am amazed at how many of those I have - so am cutting out buying a 2nd bottle unless I am totally insane over it. There are some shades I have gone back to for 3 or 4 bottles through the years. When suddenly one is discontinued like OPI did recently with Dressed To Empress, I am crushed. I think I have enough reds, but I will always have a fond place in my heart for that shade. Some day I will find the right person to pass on my huge collection of very old OPI black labels to. I even have one from the original release collection in 1999
ReplyDeleteOh thanks by the way for the mention as to where those of us who are not in big cities can buy this brand. I will start to keep my eye on it from now on. I thought it was a drugstore brand (yet another one that we don't get in my neck of the old woods).
ReplyDeleteI really like Bed Of Roses and Little Hands. I agree with you that Misa makes great cremes. In general the colors aren´t unique or eye catching in this collection
ReplyDeleteI like this collection - it seems very spring-like.
ReplyDeleteI like! XoXo
ReplyDeleteLoving this collection the most out of all the Spring collections I've seen! Just lovely and perfect for Spring :)
ReplyDeleteLove love love this Collection! Is Misa available in the States? I've never sen it. :(
ReplyDelete*seen. Whups-sorry, not enough coffee this morning yet! But I do love the Collection and would love to know where I might purchase some. Have a great day and thanks! : )
ReplyDeleteI've heard that Trade Secrets carries Misa but since we don't have that store where I live I'm not 100% sure...other than that I think it's only online
ReplyDeleteI love Bed Of Roses!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are fab! Gotta say, though, this collection is a bit of a yawn for me. Pastels aren't my thing, lol. I like Deep Breath, though. ^_^ Precious moments have always skeeved me out... that chapel is something else! *shudders*
ReplyDeletethe collection is beautiful and delicate. I loved it!I'd like to share my disappointment with the company BARRY M.One of the nail polish I bought got spilled and spoiled because of the bottle cap was not tight. I sent three emails in one week, with photos, describing what happened andthey even answered, which leads me to believe that this is a company that treats itscustomers with contempt and indifference.
ReplyDeleteI've never ordered from Barry M, it sounds like you had an awful experience. Hopefully they fixed the issue for you eventually!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these. And I love that we have a store that sells them in Canadaland weeeeeeee! All of these except Someone Like You and Sweet Thing will be coming home with meeee
ReplyDeleteThese are really lovely, but unfortunately too close to other polishes in my collection. Good to hear they have really fabulous cremes, though. I will have to be on the lookout for future collections.
ReplyDeletehaha i definitely thought of that precious moments thing!! but wow these colors are super lovely! im a sucker for pastels >.< haha
ReplyDeleteThese are all so pretty!! I think Misapplied is going to need to come to meesa!!

ReplyDeleteI was wondering throughout your entire post if the collection was really inspired by the Precious Moments figurines! I never collected them, but it seems like everyone else did, and I'm from Missouri, so...Still, the colors are lovely springtime shades. Love the cremes.
ReplyDeleteSO gorgeous. I love how they called it precious moments. such a cute spin on a color collection that will make it memorable with all of the pastels that will come out for the spring.
ReplyDeleteThought these were beautiful so I went to the Misa site to find them, no luck! Then I tried transdesign like you said. I was so stoked when my total was $11.25. Until I got to the check out and saw they were trying to charge me $80 for shipping to canada. What a friggen rip off. needless to say I won't be getting these any time soon.
