Anyway, today I have Sinful Colors Cinderella to show you guys. It seems like this polish has taken the nail community by storm recently, I keep hearing about it everywhere. Last time I was at Walgreens I found a bottle and decided to buy it. Cinderella is a light kind of greyed out blue with a soft pinkish orange shimmer. It's gorgeous in the bottle, I totally understood the hype when I found it! On...meh. It's pretty but I'm not going crazy over it. Cinderella was pretty sheer, it looked like it was going to take more coats than I was willing to do to get opaque so I layered 2 coats of Cinderella over Illamasqua Nudge since it was the first light blue I came across in my Helmer. The shimmer was more noticeable in real life but it wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be. For the price I'm happy...just wish there was some more bang to it or something.

Sinful Colors are available at Walgreens, I've also seen them at Rite Aid (No idea if Rite Aid has this shade though). They retail for $1.99 but I got mine on sale for 99 cents! wooohoo!

Hi sorry to hear about your ear, Dr. say "never put nothing smaller than your fist into your ear". Yes Cinderella did take over in the blogosphere~Grabbed the last 2 at Walgreens(1 for a intl swap). Thanks on thel heads up on needing underwear for this color. Feel better soon :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this color! ♥
ReplyDeleteI got my first polishes from Sinful Colors a few weeks ago and I love them!
Today I wrote a review of "Black on Black" on my blog.
this is really nice! This goes on my swap wishlist immediately :)
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is a very pretty colour, but I hate it when the polish is amazing in the bottle but on the nail it's a bit of a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteLove love love Cinderella on you Jen! :) Such a gorgeous color. <3
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recovery - and Cinderella is gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteDue to QTips, I once had a build-up of earwax cover my eardrum and render me deaf in one ear! The doctor had to use this watershooter thing to dislodge it. It was the most surreal thing I'd ever felt haha
ReplyDeleteas for this polish, I feel the same way as you! once i got it on the nail, i wasn't all that excited about it.
Awww, take care of yourself. Gorgeous color on you btw.
ReplyDeleteOMG, your poor eardrum! Hope you get feeling better soon. :( So, Cinderella ... I keep hearing about it too, but haven't bought it yet. Can't decide if I really like it or if I just like it because everyone else seems too. Peer pressure, LOL! I'll probably buy it just because it's so cheap.
ReplyDeleteLovely color!
ReplyDeleteThat, was happened to you, happend my godchild too, some weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!
your manicure is looking great :-)
Like it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty color! I will be on a quest to get this!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way... it's gorgeous in the bottle but when I applied I was like "umm...meh". Not my favorite, but at least it was only $1.99 :-)
ReplyDeleteawww im sorry Jen i hope you feel better, i always have ear problems ,when i was younger both my ears "exploded" (that what the dr said) so now they are very sensitive and i get ear aches constantly...so i understand your pain.! take it easy today and i wish you a fast recovery :)
ReplyDeleteI bought this a week or so ago while it was on sale for 99cents at Walgreens. It's definitely not as opaque on the nail as I'd hoped, but it's very pretty. I'm thinking of trying it over a light pink base. One more thing, would you be so kind as to make a nail care post? I'm trying to grow my nails, but they are so ridiculous (brittle, discolored, flaky). I'd love to know your tips and tricks. Thanks again for all your beautiful blogging. Hope your ear feels better soon :)
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way! Also the formula is a little thick.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about this as I do about Revlon Whimsical: Pretty, but not worth the effort to apply.
ReplyDeleteColds have been so brutal this year, hope you feel better soon. Cinderella is sooo lovely, love the pretty shimmer in the last shade pic.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ruptured eardrum! I had to have surgery for that when I was 14 because mine was really bad but it wasn't caused by a Q-Tip, I don't think. I ended up having the same thing in my right ear but it healed on its own since it wasn't serious, so hopefully that will happen for you. I just got over the cold too. Hope you feel better soon! Now for Cinderella, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to wear mine. It's such a pretty shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteWow! Sorry to hear about your poor ear! That stinks! Hope you start feeling better soon. I am going to layer Cinderella over Kinectic Candy from ChG Eletropop collection. It's not exactly the same shade but close enough I hope that it will look good. Feel better soon! And thanks for the great pics! :D
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon. Next time, pour a capful of hydrogen peroxide in your ear and when it starts to bubble, let it drain. Then use a Qtip.
ReplyDeleteaww what a pretty color! one of my go to colors is essie's borrowed and blue layered with tennis corset and i call it my cinderella combo! hahah
ReplyDeletei'm so sorry about your poor ears! i hope you feel better soon!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry for your perfed ear drum! I know that hurts. Luckily, they usually repair themselves pretty quickly in adults. Speedy healing to you!
ReplyDeleteThe polish? I'm just not a fan.
Oh no! I hope you feel better soon, Jen!!!
ReplyDeleteI cxould never rock this blue........but gosh, i love it. Gonna have to go out and find a client who wud look good in it!! lol
ReplyDeleteThis polish looks great in the bottle but I feel the same way. I feel like it doesn't set right either, and I end up smudging it even with my Good To Go topcoat.
ReplyDeleteLove love love this! Thanks for the swatch! and feel better !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! I just recently picked up this polish, I usually don't buy from the drugstore but I couldn't resist 2 for $3! I'm sorry you're sick... :( I know how ENT infections can be, not fun! Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThis polish looks AMAZING!!! I really like colors like this and I think I'll be getting it!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ear, I almost did the same thing years ago (didn't perforate but came pretty close).. hope you feel better soon!!!
I'm wearing Cinderella right now with Essie Shine of the Times over it. It's amazing; it looks like fire and ice.
ReplyDeleteLove the sparkles.
ReplyDeleteI layered Cinderella over a light pink creme and I thought it looked awesome, kind of fairytale-esque. I tried the glitter sandwich thing w/ the pink base and a thin coat of Cinderella on top w/ a matte effect and I loved it too. :D
