Good morning, happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend! Today I have part 2 of the Legend Collection from A England. If you missed part 1 you can check it out here! I don't have much to say up here about them but they are pretty fantastic so make sure you click the read more button below to see full swatches!
Ascalon is a grey with a subtle purple duochromey shimmer and a slight holo effect. At first I didn't want this polish but I saw a bunch of swatches and decided I needed it. On the nail I like it but not as much as I hoped I would, I wish the holo was stronger! Formula wise, it was amazing....a 1 coater for me!
Bridal Veil is a black with a slight holo effect. This was another I waffled on until swatches made me *need* it, same general feeling on though...I don't love it like I thought I would. I do think I will be grabbing for it quite a bit though, it's a nice black with a twist for a day when I want to wear black but not just a flat black. The formula again was amazing, a 1 coater!
Order of the Garter is a bright shimmery royal blue! Of the 3 polishes in the post it's my favorite! It reminds me a bit of Orly's Royal Navy, it's different enough to own both in my opinion so if you liked that Orly you will love this! The formula was great, again! I used 2 coats for the photos below!

I really love Ascalon. I adore the lilac flash it has, and don't even miss the super strong holographic effect. And, as mentioned, the formula is incredible!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got the Legends, I skipped the last two of these polishes (Bridal Veil and Order of the Garter) because they seemed the least unique to me. I still want to get them though as they're both very pretty colors.
