Good morning everyone! Today I have an awesome polish from etsy to show you guys. It really seems like indie/franken/handmade (whatever you want to call it) polish is the new hot thing...I gotta say, I am a fan. I enjoy buying polish from people who love it just as much as I do. It also seems like 99% of what people are doing on etsy is a bazillion times better than anything the major brands are doing right now. It's refreshing to go through an etsy shop and be able to say I've never seen anything like most of the polishes being sold...how often do you say that somewhere like Ulta? For me, never haha!
Pretty & Polished is a brand that I've seen on a couple other blogs and I finally caved and bought a few polishes. Jawbreaker is the first of the 4 I bought that I've tried out! Jawbreaker is a milky white jelly packed with multiple sizes & shapes of blue, gold, green, purple and red glitter. This polish rules and it totally does take me back to being a kid and eating jawbreakers, I love appropriately named polishes lol! The formula was great on this, it looked good at 2 coats but I wanted more red square glitter on my nails so I ended up doing 3 coats when I wore it.
Sorry about not holding the actual polish bottle for these, I bought it in the mini size and those bottles are a pain to hold and have my fingers not looking all crazy! :)

A great polish!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I have to look in the etsy-shop... ;-)
I just got it in the mail yay!
ReplyDeleteWhere did u order from?
DeleteDefinitely appropriately named! I'm loving the red square glitter!
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! I ordered 2 form P&P a few days ago as well! Can't wait for them to arrive :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun color! I am loving the milky glitters that have ben coming out recently~
ReplyDeleteThat looks really similar to the jelly sandwich Glitta Gloves made. I think she used the OPI Funny Bunny and a Lynnderella polish... Except the Lynnderella polish had no micro glitter. She could have saved some time with this one! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI find the name very appropriate for this shade. Makes me think of candy!
ReplyDeleteCute! This is one that had caught my eye, as well!
ReplyDeleteI have this passion for murky glitters and this appeals to that. My goodness! I'm in love!
ReplyDeleteUgh. I knew I should have picked this up when I first spotted it. It is gooooorgeous! Will definitely be ordering when it's back in stock.
ReplyDeleteI love this polish and am wearing it right now...it's been on since Saturday and I haven't wanted to take it off! I can't seem to get any of the red diamond glitters yet, they're stuck to the bottom and sides of the bottle :/
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of all of these fun new glitters... did you hear that Lynndarella is looking into intellectual property theft, now? The chick seems to think she invented the stuff.
ReplyDeleteJawbreaker makes me think of that 90's movie lol love the polish!
ReplyDeleteJawbreaker is so cute! I want some independent polishes but I always get to the stores once they're closed, lol. Just have to keep trying, I suppose!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I'm loving all the indie nail polishes popping up everywhere...
ReplyDeleteThat's fun!
ReplyDeleteI love this polish and all polishes by Chelsea at Pretty & Polished! She really takes pride in her work! Jawbreaker is gorgeous! You gotta try Party on My Yacht!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis one is adorable! Your nails almost look edible...!
ReplyDeleteCuuuute ! ♥ Like a candy!! :) Or some icecream (*-*)
ReplyDeleteLooks so cute!
ReplyDeleteAdria - there's usually a button under the store message which tells Etsy to email you when the store opens up again - I've used it specifically for stalking frankens and it works like a dream - I got in on the last NerdLacquer sale because of it! :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this polish! The name suites it very well! Indie polishes are my favorites, yet I don't own any yet.
ReplyDeleteI *almost* bought this last week... I didn't and then it was sold out! I am so going to snatch it whenever it's available again. Totally reminds me of the movie too (so cheesy, but good!)
ReplyDeletewow, this is really beautiful! I so agree with you when you say indie polishes rock!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool and original polish!!! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! I ordered Jawbreaker, too and can't wait to try it myself. And I completely agree about the indie franken polishes. I love them and keep stalking Etsy for more polishes like this ;)
ReplyDeleteI like ! XoXo
ReplyDeleteI may be wearing this color right now as I type! It is my new favorite, and I think the best funky neutral of all time!
ReplyDeleteis ladies in the limelight a dupe of Did It on 'Em both by opi? just wondering, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute color! Maybe one day I'll add this to my stash. I'm really loving all of the frankens I've been seeing on Etsy. I agree, they're much cooler than some of the things on the market.
ReplyDeleteOMG that is crazy cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cool! I love the look of the buried red square glitter on your middle finger!
ReplyDeleteNope, the Nicole by OPI is much more yellow :)
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS AWESOME! Makes me think of the movie from the 90s "Jawbreaker" I wonder why? LMAO
ReplyDeleteThat's really cute and very unique! I don't think I've seen anything like it. I keep browsing etsy for polishes and my wishlist keeps growing, your swatches are not helping! :D
ReplyDeleteI soo wanted this one when I made my order last week but by the time I finished choosing the ones I wanted, this one was gone. Lol. I'll be going back for it especially after seeing your pictures! :D
ReplyDeleteOMG I luv it! I def need this in my line up. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI 2nd that!!! :) im a polish fien.. hugh fetish of mine!!! i luv this blog!!!
ReplyDeleteThis total does remind me of a Jawbreaker!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! It's fresh & new looking...and you used no base white color coat at all???? I love how it comes out looking like a jelly sandwich without doing the work of that process!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! The major brands need to stand up and pay attention to this kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteI NEED THIS!!!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY want this!! Tried to find the seller on Etsy and had no luck - who is the seller you bought from (looked up "Pretty & Polished and couldn't find)? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFound! Just decided to Google
ReplyDeleteThere is a link to her shop at the bottom of my post :)
