Make sure you check out a ton of photos of these beauties after the jump!
For all the photos below I used 1 coat of the flakie over black. These are all nice and dense and you get good flakie payoff with 1 coat! These do dry a little dull looking, I used a top coat in all the photos and all photos were taken in the shade!
Balada! is red to orangey gold flakies in a sheer magenta base. There are also so small green to teal flakies sprinkled in the mix but they are sparse!
Banho de mar! is bluple and green flakies in an aqua base. What you see is pretty much what you get here, there isn't really much of a color shift with these flakies.
Base is green to blue flakies in a clear base. Even though I have a bunch exactly like this I love this so so much....I could photograph flakies that flash like this all day. They are magical lol!
Beijo na Boca! is green, red and blue flakies in a sheer reddish pink base. This is my favorite of the bunch, it looks like Christmas on my nails depending on the angle.
This photo is a bit blurry but it was the only one that caught the color shift of the green flakies!
Carnaval! is green and red flakies in a yellow/brown base. This one is very very similar to Beijo na Boca!
Viagem a 2! is red, gold and green flakies in a yellow base. For some reason I couldn't capture the green in my photos but this one is very much like Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure.
Since these are all in different color bases I put them all on a nail wheel so you could see how well the base color translates onto the nail. Most of them don't show up but a couple do! I numbered the polishes on the nail wheel, they correspond to the numbers below.
1. Banho de mar!
2. Viagem a 2!
3. Base
4. Balada!
5. Beijo de Boca!
6. Carnaval!
Up Color flakies can be purchased from Llarowe, they are $8 each and the bottles hold 10ml!

I guess I shouldn't have seen this! Or better, I should have never found your blog! It's one big temptation for me - and a suffering for my credit card :-D Those flakies are simply unbelievably amazing, I can stare at it for hours...

ReplyDeleteI love the green to blue flakies! ♥
ReplyDeleteOooh flakie heaven! Thanks for sharing .... and adding six more polishes to my lust list :) lol
ReplyDeleteJust added Banho de mar to my wishlist! I love how some of these have colored bases that transfer to the nail. So many different layering possibilities!
ReplyDeleteAmazing :O <3
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! And yes, I also went a little crazy when the NL and DP shops opened up! I got caught up in the moment and ... yeah, gonna need a MUCH larger container for polishes now. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a little flakied out. I think they are beginning to look the same! And I also got some Dollish Polish this weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI saw that Nerd Lacquer was back open, and it's killing me. I just placed a big order with Cult Nails, I'm waiting to see if I get in on this round of Lynnderella polishes at Llarowe (she said she's finished with the B's, and I'm a C), and if that comes through, it could be pretty big, because I put 7 on my wishlist, plus I want to go to Sally's and pick up a couple of magnetic polishes and a magnet (they're sold out online)... and then I'm looking forward to Cult Nails $5 sale on April 7th, and Sephora is opening in April, and there's a bunch that the Sephora in JCPenney didn't carry that I'm hoping this real Sephora will, and PHEW! I'm feeling like the money is already flying out of my hands.
ReplyDeleteWhen (if) I grow up I want to do my nails like you do. I love looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely drooling over Banho de mar! If only these beauties could be available in Italy.... <3
ReplyDeleteAnd again some polish I can't get in Germany...
ReplyDeleteSooo loving these. Especially Balada.
ReplyDeleteI don't need anymore polishes though. I went a little crazy this weekend and bought several from Dollish (plus a previous order is on its way to me) and this morning I got 4 from NerdLacquer. Plus all the stuff I've ordered this past week. Lol. My wallet is going to hate me.
Thanks for the swatches!
ReplyDeleteLlarowe ships internationally, you can get these!
ReplyDeleteThese are so gorgeous! I need more flakies! I especially like
ReplyDeleteBanho de mar.
This is very beautiful , I love this !
ReplyDeleteJust wow.. these are So pretty!
ReplyDeleteLLarowe ships internationally, yes...except to Italy!!!!
ReplyDeleteI admit, I went a little nuts when I saw NerdLacquer's store reopen. My wallet is also not happy with me, but I'm pretty excited about the nail mail I'll receive!
ReplyDeleteNice! XoXo
ReplyDeleteI may have bought a few Nerds. Just a few though. Honest.
ReplyDeleteYou should really mix some flakies together and make a fraken-flakie!!! I don't think it's even possible but if you do please post it!!!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like no one likes to ship to Italy, I wonder if you guys have some weird laws about nail polish or something? :(
ReplyDeleteOh, and I forgot to mention RBL's new fan favorite collection, and just today Zoya finally posted a new promotion. These companies need to slow down so I can catch my breath!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's possible! I've done it--I mixed Nubar 2010 and Luderana Arco-Iris and the result was MAGICAL.
ReplyDeletelooks like the dollish polish and nerd laquer stores are closed again :( but nice swatches
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. base is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGosh I fall asleep and it has come and gone!! I'll never get nerdlacquer!
ReplyDeleteThere is a little button under the message about the shop being closed that you can click to notify you when it re-opens. That's how I knew she re-opened!
ReplyDeleteAgree - we have seen Banho de mar! before. However, I never get tired of looking and playing with flakies right now! I looked last week at Leah Ann's site but not since then. It's like you need to look every day a few times a day at it!
ReplyDeleteAmazing flakies! I was able to get some Nerd Lacquer polishes and painted my nails with Data Squirrel, but my procrastination for tonight has already kicked in to take any pictures. =x
ReplyDeleteI like the ones with the tinted bases the best, mostly because I have other flakies that are really similar to the ones with the clear bases. How similar are these to the new Zoya flakies?
ReplyDeleteOoooo these are lovely, thanks for sharing x

ReplyDeleteOh, nice pictures! I now NEED Base and Beijo na (de?) Boca!
ReplyDeleteOh the green one is nice :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we seem to have wird laws about everything :( That's a shame!! I'm not happy with that at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is very beautiful , I love this !
