Jessica Bliss Is This Collection Swatches!

Happy weekend guys! Today I have Jessica's Bridal Collection for 2012 to show you! It's called the Bliss Is This Collection and it consists of 3 gorgeous creme polishes that are not what you would typically expect for a bridal collection! Not only are these not the norm I think they could possible be dupes of Chanel's April, May & June polishes...unfortunately I don't own those to compare but they look close from photos I've seen!

Desire is a dark red creme. I really enjoy this shade of red, it's not too vampy but it's also not too bright...it's just right! I *think* it might be a dupe of Chanel April, like I mentioned before I don't have it to compare though. The formula was nice, a little thick. If you get this make sure you wait a couple minutes between coats because it did drag if the 1st coat was too wet when you tried to apply the next coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below. Sorry about the glare-y photos, the weather here has been super crappy and cloudy so I had to run out when the sun came out for a quick second to take the photos which is why you can see the clouds reflecting off the polish haha!

Shade

Flirtation is a light pink creme. I do feel like I have this polish several times over but it's pretty. Maybe a dupe of Chanel May? The formula was really nice on this, I expected it to be a little sheer but I only needed 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Love Story is a gorgeous cantaloupe orange! I love this one, it's such a nice soft shade of orange. This definitely kills my Chanel June lemming woohoo! The formula was just okay on this one, it was a little thick and patchy, I used 3 coats to even it all out.

Shade
Jessica nail polish is available on JessicaCosmetics.com for $7.50. When I looked last night I didn't see these 3 polishes available yet but they should be soon!

  5. I have May and June and they look dupes from what I can see on your pictures! They sure are, since Jessica also released the dupes of the previous Chanel collection.
It looks they're not feeling very creative at Jessica's lol

  6. I'm gonna have to get Love Story because I too have been really lemming June! Such a unique color. I love nail polish but I'm just too cheap for the Chanel price tag...

  8. These are pretty and very "spring time" to me. Scrangie reviewed them and got a zillion comments saying that they are in fact dupes of the Chanels.

  9. I can't wait to get a bottle of Desire!!
Chanel April is gorgeous, but there is no way I will pay Chanel prices.
So glad that someone made a dupe of it!    Yippeee!!!

I think I am in love with Desire!!! Red is my favorite color! (so u know I don't need to get any more reds!)  But after seeing these swatches I just might have to get this red! by the way I think it's really cool that you can see the reflections of clouds in your nails. I don't think I would've noticed had u not said anything though. But I think it does go to show that there's a nice shine to the polish.

  13. You are right, I would not expect these from a bridal collection. But that is a good thing. I am getting worn out from seeing the same ideas from every one.

  14. If anyone else is looking for a drugstore dupe of Chanel April, check out Sally Hansen NailGrowth Miracle in Beautiful Berry.  I have swatched them side by side and the difference is barely perceptible.  I am loving the swatches of Jessica collection!  I have searched for a June dupe and there is nothing else that comes closer than this one.  Thanks, Jen!

  16. This is exactly why I love checking out swatches--I wouldn't have given
these colours much of a second glance on the rack, but I am seriously
loving Desire and Love Story! They're so fruity and perfect for
summer/spring. And I wouldn't have thought I needed any more pinks either, but Flirtation is a very nice shade, softer than bubblegum without verging on pastel.

PS: Please excuse the random entry below--still getting the hang of Disqus ;)
