Zoya Fall 2012 Diva Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Happy Friday, this week felt so long...I'm happy it's over! Anyone have fun plans this weekend, I was supposed to be going to Cosmoprof North America but my plans have changed :( I was thinking about going up to Monterey Bay to make up for it but I haven't decided if I want to do that 6 hours drive or not...I guess I should probably figure that out soon lol!

Today I have the final part of Zoya's Fall 2012 collections, the Diva Collection! I saved this part for last because it's awesome! The Diva Collection brings us 6 gorgeous shimmery polishes. I really love the colors, 2 of these are new members of my favorite Zoya's ever list!

To see swatches and reviews of each polish click the Read More button below!

Daul is a purple base with golden shimmer. This looks like it's probably a dupe of Orly Oui, I haven't had time to compare them side by side on the nail but in the bottle they look very very close. The formula was okay...it was on the sheer side. I used 3 coats for the photos below!

Shade

Elisa is a bright shimmery red. This feels a teensy bit Christmas-y to me but I really love red like this...they remind me of ribbon candy. I love how saturated this, it's gorgeous out in the sun! I'll probably stash this away until the holidays, I can't wait until they roll around to wear this again! The formula was great, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

FeiFei is shimmery steel blue. I don't even know where to begin with this, it's one you need to see in person. If you don't want to commit to buying it based on swatches it is one I would highly recommend getting a color spoon for. It's in-freakin-credible. There are about a million colors of shimmer in here that just don't translate into photos. This is easily my favorite polish out of everything Zoya has given us for Fall along with being one my favorite Zoya's ever. The formula was good, it was a little bit sheer at first but it built up beautifully. I used 3 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Ray is a blackened green shimmer. I want to like this one, but it leans a little too frosty for me. I loved it until I stepped out in the sun so maybe it'll be one I save for overcast days haha! I did have a little formula problem with this, it was a tiny bit patchy. If not for the patchy-ness it would have been a 2 coater but I ended up needed 3 to even it out.

Shade

Song is a vibrant bright shimmery blue. I don't need words for this, pictures speak for it. It's easily one of my new favorite Zoya's of all time. The formula was fantastic, almost a 1 coater! I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Suri is a shimmery royal purple. This is a bit more vibrant in person than it's looking in my photos. This one, like Ray leans a little frosty but not so frosty that I don't like it. The formula was really nice on this one, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Shade

Overall, I love the Diva Collection! My picks are Song and FeiFei, if you only buy 2 of their Fall colors that would be my overall picks...they are just incredible!  Collections like this remind me why I love Zoya so much!

The Diva Collection is available now on Zoya.com for $8 a bottle!

  3. FeiFei!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh. My. God. Seriously, that is magic in a bottle. *mind blown* FeiFei is definitely my number 1 most wanted from all the fall Zoya collections. Actually, I think it's my favorite fall polish so far! I have a feeling my love for FeiFei will be even stronger once I get my paws on it! :D

    I also definitely need to get Song (love the intense vibrance of the shade and the gorgeous finish!) and Elisa (beautiful shade and the finish looks like it GLOWS!). So...FeiFei, Song, and Elisa are my must-haves!
    Daul is a maybe because I have Orly Oui and from what I've seen so far they look dupe-ish. Looking forward to your comparison! :D I have Zoya Faye, OPI Rally Pretty Pink, and Orly Ingenue in my stash. It hurts to buy so many dupes (especially when my stash is so ridiculously huge). These days I am extra careful when it comes to buying possible dupes. I used to look at it like, the dupe is my backup! But these days I'm wondering if I'll even be able to wear all my pretties in my lifetime! >.< So needless to say I'm so happy that you are already planning a Daul vs Oui comparison! Thank you so much!

  4. So pretty! I like Daul and FeiFei :) oh and Elisa because it's almost the same as my name LOL. I wish one of the companies that use human names for their polishes would do one with my name! That would be awesome.

  7. I need Zoya to release a promo code. Between the Diva and Designers colors, I'm going to buy nearly half of the collection. Your Diva swatches have made me change my mind and now my wishlist is longer! great post.

  8. Song looks like a dupe or Orly Stone Cold or OPI Swimsuit Nailed it. I have the Orly, so I'm not sure I need this one

  11. I love so many of these! Looks like my Zoya stash will be growing by at least 5.

  12. Do you by chance have Zoya Faye as well? I feel like it looks similar to Dual, but I don't own both and I'm quite curious how they compare!

  13. This doesn't have to do with Zoya (but wow are all of these gorgeous!), but could you please do a comparison of Pretty And Polished "Sand Art" and Lac Attack "Hell on Heels"? I'm already getting Sand Art but I want to know if they're different enough to get both :3

  14. Faye is much more pink, different enough to own both in my opinion

  15. How close is dual to the OPI from the miss universe collection? The purple/gold one I think it's called "it's my year"? but I could be wrong lol

  16. I LOVE Elisa and Song!! Do want!

  17. Daul is so pretty! But it kind of looks like it might be a dupe of OPI This Is My Year...but maybe a little less pink?

  18. I just got FeiFei (along with Monica and all three of the glosses) today, and FYI ladies...you HAVE to see this polish. I can't even describe it...it's like there are four different colors in this bottle. I can't wait to swatch it as soon as I get home later. Again, you have got to see this. Unbelievable!

  20. The royal purple and red remind me a lot of the a england mythicals!

    Elisa -> Perceval
    Suri -> Avalon

    Any sense if they're dupes?

  21. I don't have any of those A England polishes, sorry

  22. I agree with some of the comments... the blue, purple and red remind me
    of A Englands, but FeiFei and Daul are to DAUL-for! ;-)) LOVE!
