Nails Inc. Cheyne Walk

Hi guys! Hope you had a good weekend, I did...kind of. I had fun at my concerts but on Friday night while on my way to see MxPx my tire pressure warning light came on and I didn't think much of it since my tire looked fine when I got back to my car after the show.  Then when I went out to my car on Saturday morning my tire was flat :(  I took it to get it fixed they said that something had punctured the tire and it was too close to the side to patch it...so I had to buy a new tire. Apparently the tires on Mini Coopers are some kind of weird small tire that no one carries (not even the dealer o.O). I literally had to call 15 places yesterday before I found someone who had the tire in stock at another location and was willing to go get it and put it on my car. What a nightmare, if you have a Mini Cooper like me I hope you never need tires lol! Gotta love having to replace a tire on a car so new it doesn't have permanent license plates yet...that's just my luck!

Anyway, today I have another Nails Inc polish to show you! This one is called Cheyne Walk, it's part of Nails Inc. Mirror Metallics collection that just launched at Sephora here in the US. Cheyne Walk is a metallic purple. This looks like it should have a duochrome but I couldn't coax it out, maybe layering it over something other than black (or wearing it on it's own) would bring it out more...it's something on my list to try! For the photos below I layered 1 coat of Cheyne Walk over Nails Inc. Black Taxi. I tried it out on a nail wheel first and Cheyne Walk seemed a little sheer on it's own!

The Mirror Metallics from Nails Inc are available now on Sephora.com, it looks like only 2 are in stock as I type this. I also spotted them in stores when I was at Sephora over the weekend. Each polish retails for $9.50!

  1. It looks like you got a little of the color shift on the left edges of the nails.

  3. Yesterday, I picked up Essie's "Nothing Else Metals" which is also a purple mirror metallic - it's part of a collection.....though I think it' a little lighter shade than Cheyne Walk.

loved how it looks in the shade..!! and I hate when you have a flat tire, I used to live in a building where I didn't have a parking space, so i had to park in the street, next to the trees, and I was a frequent shopper to the guy who patches tires! Almost every week had to go there.. I'm sure that someone was flatting it on purpose.

  7. This is a yummy purple. My Sephora never has any polishes in at all but a rare few of their own brand and then the always very picked over display of OPI for Sephora polishes...so without any other stores that carry this brand, I am caught lemming a # of them which this one will be added to that list. How off this collection is called Mirror Metallics collection. That's the EXACT same name of the collection Essie just released.

  8. This is indeed a lovely duochrome if worn on its own! Stratford, from the same collection, is also awesome.
