Good morning guys! I almost said happy Wednesday but then I realized it was Thursday...I love when it's a day ahead of what I think it is! Today I have a new to me brand to share with you guys called Pomegranate Nail Lacquer. If you saw yesterday's Black Cat Lacquer Swatches you got a little preview of these! Pomegranate Nail Lacquer is 3 free and cruelty free, gotta love that! They make a ton of gorgeous colors and I'm really excited to share these 3 with you, I hope you like them as much as I do!

Blue Screen of Death is a bright blue with a stunning blue shimmer. This polish is incredible, it doesn't photograph as great as it looks in real life. When I got this in the mail I sat in my living room just staring at the shimmer in the bottle haha! The formula was really nice, it's got a bit of a jelly quality to it but I didn't find it to be too sheer. I used 2 coats for the photos below, there was still a little bit of visible nail line...but not enough to bother me!
Cyberspace is a charcoal brown with a very subtle holo. This one reminds me a bit of Color Club Revvvolution and Lex Cosmetic Seashell. If you like subtle holos you will love this. It was more holo in person than in my photos. The formula was really nice, a little sheer but it went on like butter. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
Raid The Arcade! is a neon yellow! What can I say, I am in neon mode right now so I wanted to try this one out. The formula was okay, this was on the sheer side...most likely it's one I would layer over white the next time I wear it. I used 4 coats for the photos below, there was still some visible nail line but this was so bright that you couldn't see it out in the sun. Since this is a neon it dried to a satin matte finish, I did use top coat for the photos below.
Overall, I am a fan of these polishes...I'm so glad this brand is on my radar now! Blue Screen of Death is a must have if you like blue polish...I can't even tell you guys how gorgeous it is in real life! Pomegranate Nail Lacquer polishes are available at pomegranatelacquer.com for $9 each!

I like Yellow!! XoXo
ReplyDeletePomegrante's Blue Screen of Death is an EXACT copy of Pretty-Serious' color of the EXACT same name. Pomegrante: REALLY?? If you are going to copy somebody else's color at least CHANGE the name so you don't look like absolute wankers.
ReplyDeleteHonestly.
I've never heard of this brand - the colors are so bright & gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI don't own the Pretty Serious polish but I just looked up swatches and while they are similar it doesn't look close to being an "exact copy". Pretty Serious looks like it has glitter and the Pomegranate polish has very fine shimmer
ReplyDeleteBlue Screen of Death is definitely the winner out of the 3 for me! <3
ReplyDeleteI love Blue Screen of Death... and isn't this the second polish with this name this year??
ReplyDeleteyes, apparently Pretty Serious has a polish that is called that also
ReplyDeleteHello, this is Tina, the owner of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer. Just wanted to clarify two things: 1) I had never heard of Pretty Serious and wasn't aware that they have a polish with the same name. With more than 200 brands out there it's kind of hard to keep track. 2) I looked theirs up and our color is different. Ours is a brighter blue jelly with shimmer. Theirs looks darker blue, not sure if it's a jelly or not, and it looks more like glitter than shimmer.
ReplyDeleteCyberspace is the prettiest polish EVER! i need it !! But they don't ship to Canada!! :'(
ReplyDeleteI have both Blue Screen of Death and Cyberspace and I love them both!
ReplyDeleteooh i love that blue! WANTZ!
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool to see the owner directly defending their product. Good on you for being proud of your brand! Also, there is definitely a clear difference between these two colors. I know I would love to own both.
ReplyDeleteOh, lord...and me on an extended no-buy!
ReplyDeleteYou should get the sinful colors study in style and neon collections and do swatches :3
ReplyDeleteI think the Pretty Serious color is officially named BSOD?
