Happy Weekend! Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? I'm not really sure what I'm going to do yet! Today I have another indie spam for you! This one isn't a huge one but there are a lot of gorgeous polishes! The links for where to find these indie polishes will be at the very end of the post. Check out all the swatches by clicking the read more button below!
Amys Nail Boutique Cotton Candy is blue and pink matte glitter! I used 1 coat over Essie Bikini So Teeny for the photos below. I loved this combo, it was subtle but beautiful!
Amy's Nail Boutique Patriot is red, white & blue matte glitter in a clear base. I almost wore this for the 4th of July but I never had time to put it on :( I used 1 coat of Patriot over Zoya Vegas Freeze which was over Nails Inc Black Taxi for the photos below!
Amy's Nail Boutique Pink Lemonade is yellow and pink matte glitter in a clear base. I wore this combo for 6 days and has no chipping and only minor tip wear...gotta love that! I used 1 coat of Pink Lemonade over Nails Inc Black Taxi for the photos below. I tried this over a ton of polishes but I loved how it popped over black the best!
Amy's Nail Boutique Preppy is green and pink matte glitter in a clear base. It's a lot like Pink Lemonade but the green is different enough that I feel the need for both (I also have a problem hoarding matte glitter). This one was so hard to find a good base color for, it's such a weird mix of glitter that it was clashing with a lot of things. I decided to layer it over Julie G 9 to 5, out of everything I tried it was what I liked best other than using a black base.
CrowsToes Murder by #'s is a dark purple/green duochrome with bits of holographic glitter and large green glitter. I layered this over Zoya Mimi hoping it would bring out the purple duochrome but it didn't want to come out and play :( This one is so much better in real life, the holographic glitter was a thousand times better than it's was photographing.
I also wanted to mention that fantastic customer service I got from Lauri at CrowsToes! When I got my package in the mail from her this polish was completely smashed, I've never had something arrive as completely destroyed as this one (thanks for that, USPS!) I emailed Lauri and she was great, she responded quickly and sent out a replacement! I feel like a lot of the time on blogs (mine included) you only hear about bad customer service so I wanted to take a second to thank Lauri for being so great!
Daring Digits Blueberry Square is small white glitter and blue square glitter in a clear base. I bought this for the square glitter, I'm obsessed with that too haha! I was not disappointed with this, I love it! I used 1 coat over China Glaze Under The Boardwalk (the fuschia version) for the photos below.
Daring Digits Ice is a flakie!! I was hesitant at first about ordering this, it didn't look that fantastical in photos on etsy but I'm so glad I got it..it's awesome in person! I used 1 coat over China Glaze Ride The Waves for the photos below. Both photos are in the shade!
Dollish Polish Lipstick Around Your Dipstick is a pink toned red glass fleck shimmer. I'm so glad I picked this one up, it is incredibly gorgeous on and the shimmer is amazing! the formula was really nice, I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Dollish Polish The Walk of Shame is a shimmery purple! This one leans a little more frosty than Lipstick Around Your Dipstick but not so frosty that I don't like it. The formula was good, it was a little sheer but it built up easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
Girly Bits Vive La Revolution is another red, white & blue glitter. I apologize for the photo on this one, I could not get a not blurry photo for some reason :( I used 1 coat over Zoya Sparkle Gloss which was over Black.
Lush Lacquer Lite Brite is a gorgeous multicolored glitter. I think it might be my new favorite multicolored glitter! I used 1 coat over Skin Food V1407 for the photo below. This was very dense glitter, it was nice and easy to get a lot of glitter on the brush and nail.
I do want to mention that shipping from this seller was really really slow. I've heard from several people that it was slow for them also. For me, that was disappointing which is why I am letting you guys know.
Lush Lacquer Mr Bubble is a beautiful mix of pink, white & blue matte glitter of various sizes in a clear base. I love it, are we surprised? This one was also very dense and it was easy to get a lot of glitter without having to fish it out. I used 1 coat over Skin Food V1408 for the photos below.
Lush Lacquer Snap Crackle Pop is another red, white & blue glitter. This one is in a bit of a blue jelly base. Apparently I went on a whole red, white & blue glitter shopping spree about a month ago...I didn't realize it until typing this post up lol! This one, while I do like it is not what I expected. It looked like more of a layering glitter in the photos on etsy (there were no swatches of it that I could find when ordering). I wish it wasn't so opaque :/ I used 1 coat over Nails Inc Black Taxi & Skin Food Crystal Pearl Top Coat. The formula was on the thick side and since it is so opaque it made it a little hard to apply unlike the previous 2 glitters.
Pretty & Polished Phoenix is red, orange and yellow glitter. I bought this one because I love the red hex glitter in here, I (clearly) have a lot of polishes with the small orange and yellow matte glitter but nothing with it mixed with hex glitter! I used 1 coat over Essie Fear or Desire for the photos below!
Pretty & Polished Tart is multicolored glitter in a sheer lavender base. I used 2 coats of Tart on it's own for the photos below.
As always with indies, these will not always be in stock. Your best bet is to "like" the page for the brand on Facebook to stay up to date with when they will be restocked.

ReplyDeleteOoooh, gorgeous spam! I have Pink Lemonade on its way to me and I'm already planning over what to layer it...
ReplyDeleteOoh, Lite Brite is so fun! I like Pink Lemonade as well :)
ReplyDeleteThis are some awesome polishes! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! This is an impressive collection of indie polish! I love them all but Pink Lemonade is definately my fave! Not Spam at all btw!
ReplyDeleteLove the Cotton Candy one and Lite Brite looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteLovely swatches!!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing mix of indie sellers. I love Amy's creations. I always appreciate seeing how others layer indies as well, it helps to narrow down top coat choices. Thank you for your honesty in discussing how the products go on and any issues you had with shipping, etc.
ReplyDeletelove your indie spams!! :)
ReplyDeletethese are all kind of amazing. I love your swatch spam posts. you create sooo many lemmings lol
ReplyDeleteOmgoodness i love all of these, so pretty
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!!...Thanks for Swatching!..Now I've added more to my Wish LIst!...=)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had all the polishes you have and the time to do it. You really do such an amazing job doing your own nails!
ReplyDeleteyayy more indie spam.. love seeing them all but i NEED p&p Tart...
ReplyDeleteWhoa Lite Bright just jumped to the top of my 'must have' list!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had Pay Pal so I could buy allllll of these. They're all gorgeous. I'm especially loving the Lush Lacquer polishes. Mr. Bubble is my favorite out of the bunch.
ReplyDeleteI think Lush Lacquer is so slow because they are made to order! I put in an order a couple weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped out. I'm going to have to order from their shop again because I have huge regrets about not orderin mr bubble!! Lol I love it on you!!
ReplyDeleteholy shizz balls! i don't own ANY indie polishes!!!! these are gorgeous! i want "Lite Bright"
ReplyDeleteLite bright is my fav. I feel like its more original than the rest.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Mr. Bubbles.. Such cute name. Love the indie spam, great job as always.
ReplyDeleteLite Brite is just too much of glitter goodness to describe!! Too bad the shipping is so slow :(
ReplyDeleteLush Lacquer shipping is indeed slow, about 2 weeks, and if you go to etsy, they will explain why. But you eventually get the polish you want even if there is a wait because the seller does not go on "vacation", unlike other sellers whom you need to stalk just so you can buy your polishes. Then when they open, all the polishes are gone, you get cartjacked, and all other kinds of frustrations. I recently received an order from them, and one bottle was broken when it arrived. I contacted the seller and they are very reponsive, and sent a replacement right away.
ReplyDeleteI am getting to the over-saturation point with indie glitters! I need to thin my stash down - way down.
ReplyDeleteI read on Lush Lacquers site that the reason why shipping is so slow is because they have recieve 2600+ orders in the past few weeks or so. I'm still awaiting my Lite Bright!!!!!!!! lol
ReplyDeleteNow I'm really sad I forgot about the P&P 2nd restock the other day because I wanted Tart! Argh! Great combos though, I'm really loving the first one... I think you have made me a matte glitter fan :)
ReplyDeleteGreat swatches! But dear Lord, Jen, you are KILLING me with these indie spam posts. Too many pretties to covet! You are creating a lemming monster!! My wallet really hates you right now! ha ha :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! So many lemmings added to my list, including Tart, and Lite Brite. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHappy to say that I have 90% of these polishes and they are all so gorgeous!! The Lush Lacquer one's are especially unique and so pretty, and yes, my order also took quite a while to ship....but, they mentioned that this would happen, because they just opened and received a ton of orders. I would rather purchase the way they are operating, as a made to order, and wait a bit for everything to ship...rather than have to stalk a store for it's restock, only to find that everything sells out in less than a minute and get cart jacked in the process of checking out! Etsy should come up with a way to hold items in your cart for 5 to 10 minutes, like many shopping sites, so the horrendous cart jacking can stop!!
ReplyDeleteI am awaiting and order of Lush Lacquer's Mr.Bubble and Salt n' Peppa, and I can't wait! They did have the note that they have a big order volume and it may take a while to get it sent out. No problem! Like someone else said it's better than having to stalk a store for one bottle!
