Wet 'n Wild Fergie Collection: Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night

Hi guys! Today I have a polish from the Wet 'n Wild Fergie Collection for you! I finally spotted the display of these a couple weeks ago at Walgreens. I was pretty much meh about all of them until I spotted this one.  Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night is small black glitter mixed with gold hex glitter in a clear base. Black glitter is my weakness, I had to buy it!

The formula was easy to work with but guys. can we just talk for a second about the horrendous brush these polishes have? I love a nice wide brush like the ones Sally Hansen uses in their Complete Salon Manicure polishes but the brush in this polish is bigger than that brush...it's felt like I was trying to polish my nails with one of those flat foundation brushes. It's been a loooong time since I've bought a new Wet 'n Wild polish so I'm not sure if this is now the standard brush in all their polishes but I sure hope not...it was awful.

I used 1 coat of Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night over Zoya Rekha for the photos below.

The Fergie Collection from Wet 'n Wild is out now, I've only seen the display at Walgreens!

  1. Wet 'n Wild's brushes make me RAGE! They are the same in the Spoiled line as well. Love a lot of the colors, but the brush....... Makes a contemplate putting them all in empty polish bottles with better brushes.

On a positive note, this glitter looks amazing over Rekha.

  3. The WnW Fast Dry brushes are horrendous. I don't think they are super wide like that but they have thick, unevenly cut bristles like a cheap child's paint brush!

  4. Very pretty, although a shame about the brush! I have a bizarrely narrow little finger nail so I really struggle with wide brushes.

This is gorgeous! I love black glitter as well so I will definitely be picking this up.

  6. I like this! I just wish there was more gold glitter on the nail. It's still really cool! I have no black glitters at all, so this would be a nice one to get, even if the brush sounds horrible.

  8. The polish is awesome and looks great with Rekha. It's a shame about the brush! Dumping it in another bottle is a great idea.

  9. Really love this one! I'm glad I picked it up…it seems to be the most unique polish in the collection. Looks fab over red!

  10. I like a wide brush but this sounds horrible. The color is pretty but I wish there was more gold glitter.

  11. If wet and wild charged 50cents more and put a better brush I'm sure more ppl would want them... I wish they made one that was just black glitter...

  12. I picked up this one, because I've been looking for a black glitter, and the red/holo glitter one (the name escapes me at the moment) but I haven't tried them yet. The way you layered it looks nice!

I find it pretty funny you picked this polish out of all of them, I found the display at my Walgreens, too, and this is the only one I picked up! I just haven't had the chance to swatch it yet, but I'm kind of waiting for a good occasion to wear it.

Like a lot of people have said, the Spoiled polishes are horrendous, as well, so if this IS like those, it's gonna suck to use :-(. But at least it's a glitter where you aren't as worried about streaking or anything like that, so I think it'll still be good :-) Seeing it on red is GORGEOUS, I wasn't sure what color to put under the glitter...I still have some ideas perhaps I'll share!

  19. I have Hollywood Walk of Fame from this collection, which is an awesome, unique polish but I totally agree that the brush is AWFUL. Just makes me cringe.

I actually did not have a problem with these, I find the Spoiled brushes to be worse by far. Most of the Fergies are just repackaged Spoileds, but I got a couple that I found unique. For those of you who hate the Spoiled brushes, try cleaning off one of the brushes from an empty polish and then using that brush. You can clean it off with acetone when you´re done using it and have it ready for your next terribley brushed polish.

The brushes of the Fergies are different from the Spoiled ones. The Spoiled brushes are wide and uneven, while Fergie ones are longer and thinner.
