NOTD: Multichrome Water Marble

Hi guys, hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was nice! Did everyone watch the True Blood finale last night? I was kind of bored this season but the finale made up for it...especially the last 15 or so minutes!

Today I have my NOTD (Nail Of The Day) to share with you guys. This will actually probably end up being my nails for the whole week, I'm a bit obsessed with it...I don't want to remove this any time soon! A long time ago I saw a multichromtic water marble on another blog, I think it was a Brazilian blog. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the blog or else I would link it for you...her water marble was amazing! For my base color I used Nails Inc Black Taxi which is just a black creme. The marbling is Ozotic 505, Ozotic 507, Ozotic 521 & Ozotic 502. I tried to get photos of this in several different kinds of lighting since it was such a chameleon!

If you are looking for good tutorials for how to water marble I would suggest checking out My Simple Little Pleasures on Youtube!

Sun

Of course I hade to mattify this also with a coat of Essie Matte About You...I couldn't resist. I ended up putting regular top coat back on since I prefer this manicure shiny but it looks pretty awesome matte also!

  17. Best NOTD ever! It looks amazing especially in the sun. I've never worn a mani for a full week but I think this deserves it. I agree on the True Blood finale. I can't wait for next season.

  25. omg i loooooved this water marble.. i've seen it before, but i can't do water marble.. :(
i loved the matte top coat.

  26. I can see why you would be obsessed with this one. It's beautiful. I only have 3 Ozotics and not sure I would give 'em up to the wasted polish that comes from water marbeling...but gosh this is going to sit in the front of my brain..I might try it with some less valuable, easier for me to get duochromes.

  27. Gorgeous! I'm so jealous of people with such patience to try this. Good work!

  28. LOVED the finale! I am still a little bored with Luna but it is nice to see Sam have a girlfriend. And SAM!!! HE FRICKIN' ROCKED!!! I was sad to see one of my faves go, and Eric cemented why he is my fave. And Pam and Tara are pretty much the best pairing on the show now.

  32. Esmaltes da Kelly is where I've seen this, although I couldn't for the life of me figure out how she did it! Thanks so much for sharing it, cuz now I HAVE to try it!

  33. This is beautiful! Water marbling and sponging are both a bit to messy & sticky for me, but that mani would be totally worth it! It reminds me of a peacocks tail - fab! x x x
