Enchanted Polish Enchanted Falloween Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Sorry for my absence over the last few days, to paraphrase my week I had 3 root canals and was on antibiotics that did not agree with me. It's been pretty awful over here since Sunday, I haven't even been able to look at my computer because the screen was so bright it was making me sick. no bueno. I still feel like crap but I wanted to show you this collection before it launches so I dragged myself out of my sick den to write this up lol! Hopefully I'll be back to 100% soon, nurse Degen has been taking great care of me. By taking care of me I mean he is sleeping next to me and occasionally demanding a butt scratch as payment.

Anyway, on to nail polish today I have the Enchanted Falloween Collection from Enchanted Polish to share with you guys. This collection is 7 awesome glitter bombs just in time for Halloween! Check out all the swatches after the jump!

Beetle Juice is green, black, gold and holographic glitter in a clear base. I'm loving this mix of glitter! I liked the formula of this one, it was easy to get a lot of glitter on the brush and onto the nail in 1 coat. I had no problems like the glitter bunching up into 1 spot or having to dab it on. I used 1 coat of Beetle Juice over Picture Polish White Wedding for the photos below.

Shade

Dexter  is red and black glitter in a clear base with a subtle shimmer. This was love as soon as I saw the name, pretty much anything Dexter I'll like regardless of how it looks, luckily the glitter is awesome too I love this color combo. I kind of can't wait until the show is back on the 30th, I've already planned my blood splatter mani to celebrate haha! The formula was again really nice, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff is awesome. I used 1 coat of Dexter over Zoya Purity for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Finger Lickin' Good is a crazy mix of yellow, red, white and black glitter in a shimmery base. This does have bar glitter so if you don't like that you won't like this one...however I love me some bar glitter so I don't mind it! I really love this mix of glitter, it feels very fall appropriate to me. The formula was on the thick side but it's absolutely packed with glitter. I did have a slight problem with the glitter wanting to get all bunched up in one spot when I would get a lot the really large white hex and square glitter on 1 nail. I used 1 coat of Finger Lickin' Good  over OPI Pamplona Purple for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Igor is green, red, purple, black and white glitter in a shimmery base. I love that the purple glitter in this is shredded glitter, I feel like I don't have anything quite like this. The formula was nice, the glitter coverage was great and I had no application issues. I used 1 coat of Igor over OPI Gargantuan Green Grape Matte for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Practice Safe Hex is purple, silver, black and holographic glitter in a subtle holographic base. Not only is this is total win because of the name but I really love the mix of glitter also. I had some major issues with the formula on this one though, it was really thick and hard to work with. I had to add a lot of thinner to my bottle to make it workable. My bottle is a mini so hopefully that won't be a problem with the full sized bottles. I used 1 coat of Practice Safe Hex over OPI Do You Lilac It? for the photos below.

Pumpkin Gutz is orange, black and green glitter in a clear base. I'm a bit in love with this, it screams Halloween to me! The formula was good, not too thick. The glitter payoff was great and I had no application issues. I used 1 coat of Pumpkin Gutz over OPI DS Classic for the photos below, both photos are in the shade. This combo was awesome in person but I feel like it's not translating very well in photos :(

Witchful Thinking is pink, gold and brown-ish glitter in a clear base. This sucker was so hard to photograph, my camera couldn't handle all the awesome happening lol! The formula was on the thick side but the glitter payoff is pretty amazing! I had no application issues which was I surprised about because of how much glitter you get in 1 coat. I used 1 coat of Witchful Thinking over OPI Dim Sum Plum for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Overall I really like these, my picks are Witchful Thinking, Beetle Juice and Pumpkin Gutz! The Enchanted Falloween Collection will be available at Shop.Llarowe.com! today, please check out the Llarowe Facebook Page for all the details of when they will be for sale.

  12. Preeeety - and I am not all about glitter - tire of it really fast and want a polish change - hard when it's o difficult to remove to mush those 2 things together to justify it in my mind. Your picks for base shades here are beyond fabulous.

  14. Aaah, I'm so sorry about your teeth - I just had a root canal (only one) today and ughhhhhhhhhh. I had a root canal a year and a half ago, too - just lucky I guess. Here's hoping you have a speedy recovery.

  15. OH.......I am so sorry. Root canals are NOT fun. Feel better real soon!

  16. I just had a root canal recently too. Except mine was probably one in a million that wasn't god awful with pain! I wasn't in paint to start with so the root canal itself wasn't that bad, but man oh man, they didn't get all my roots the first time so I had some AWFUL sharp pains a few days later. Feel better soon!!!

  20. So so sorry to hear about your bad week! Must be awful to have a bad reaction to the meds, on top of recovering from dental surgery...ugh, poor you! On that note, I swear by my Phillips Sonicare toothbrush, it's kept me mostly cavity free for the last 5-6 years. It's a bit expensive but worth it (I have a little bit of OCD & do the cycle twice, so I actually brush my teeth for 4 minutes, that might also help, haha!). ANYWAY, these Enchanted glitters are so rad. I think Pumpkin Gutz is my fave!!
