Girly Bits Halloween 2012 Collection Swatches

TGIF! Today I have a break from all the Winter Collection I've spammed you with this week, it's the Girly Bits Halloween 2012 Collection! Pam has cooked up some seriously gorgeous glitters for Halloween, I hope you guys like them as much as I do! It looks like Pam also recently added another polish to this collection called Holo'ween, I don't have it to show you but you can see it in her shop here. It looks just as awesome as these 5!

To see swatches & reviews of each shade click the read more button below.

Apparition is described by Pam as a clear base with off white hexes, squares and shreds, tiny little holo micro bars and opalescent hexes that flash a gorgeous violet. That's much better than I could have ever described this lol! I love this mix of glitter, over light colors it looks so soft and over darker colors really pops.  I'm also loving the name! The formula was nice, a little thick but easy to work with and it had great glitter coverage! I used 1 coat over OPI Light My Sapphire for the first couple of photos and 1 coat of Ulta Tutu Cute for the other photos below.

Boo-berry is a deep blurple base with purple, fuchsia and navy glitter mixed in. This is great layered but you can also wear it on it's own with 3 coats. I did find the glitter to be a little more sparse than I was expecting, I used 2 coats over Sally Hansen Purple Pizzazz for the photos below. This was so much better in real life than it's translating in photos!

Candy Corn is yellow, orange and white glitter in a clear base. I died a little when Pam posted a bottle shot of this on Facebook a while back, the mix of glitter is perfection. Not only was the gorgeous in the bottle but it looks awesome on the nail also! The formula was great, so was the glitter coverage! I used 1 coat over Ulta Moody Blues for the photos below.

Fright Night is various sizes/shapes of bright red glitter in a black jelly base. This is another that is great on it's own or layered, the black base is a little sheer so I think you'd need 3-4 coats to get it opaque that way. For the photos below I use 1 coat over Nails Inc Black Taxi. The formula was really nice, not thick at all!

Monster Mash is green, gold and black glitter in various shapes/sizes in a lightly green tinted base. I love this one, it was love at first sight of the bottle lol! It's perfectly Halloween! The formula was really nice, not thick at all and it was very easy to get a lot of glitter into the nail! I used 1 coat over China Glaze Starboard for the photos below.
