Happy weekend! Today I have another spamathon for you! I'm pretty excited about this post, the brand I'm showing today is Sation! Sation just recently revamped their entire line, they totally redesigned the bottles and came out with a ton of gorgeous polishes. What I'm most excited about though is all the awesome glitters they just launched. I saw the display at a local beauty supply a couple weeks ago and had to stop myself from bringing them all home with me.

3 Free-Dom is a light milky grey. This is walking the line between a creme and a jelly, it's a crelly! The formula was good, a bit sheer but not streaky at all. I used 3 coats for full opacity, this dried super shiny on it's own!
Calorie Countess is brown, orange, gold and pink glitter in a clear base. There is some very sparse bar glitter in here, you can hardly even see it. I love this, do I need to say more? The mix of glitter is awesome! The formula was a little on the thick side but very easy to work with, I used 1 coat over Seche Simplicity for the photos below.
Confessions of a Nail Tech is mainly pink and white glitter but it has bits of holographic gold and iridescent blue green glitter in the mix also. The base is slightly tinted pink but not tinted enough to get this opaque on it's own. This is another total winner for me, I wore this for a few days and got a ton of compliments on the combo! The formula was again a little thick but very easy to apply, I used 1 coat over Zoya Raven for the photos below.
Diamond Diggin' Diva is black, silver and holographic glitter in a clear base. This was so beautiful out in the sun, photos really don't do it any justice. The formula was a little thick but easy to work with! I used 1 coat over Seche Contemporary for the photos below.
Ego-friendly is yellow, green, silver and black glitter in a clear base. If you follow me over on Instagram (my username is thepolishaholic in case you don't follow me and want to!) you probably saw me post a bottle shot of this when I came across the display of these glitters. I'm pretty sure the people standing around me thought I was a crazy person because I squealed a little when I saw this one. I can't even tell you how much I love this glitter, it's like something I would buy from an indie because that's the only place I'd probably find it until now.
The formula was unfortunately not my favorite of the bunch, the bigger pieces of glitter tend to sink to the bottom of the bottle and stay there but it still looks awesome on! I used 1 coat over Essence Walk On The Wild Side for the photos below.
For Better Or Never is an orangey pink base with blue, silver & holo glitter mixed in. This one is much better in real life, I don't think it lends itself to photographs very well. The base on this is opaque enough to wear on it's own very easily. It was on the thick side though so it's best to thin it first, I used 2 coats for the photo below.
I Paint In Peace is a gorgeous green with a subtle silver shimmer. I actually didn't notice this had a shimmer until I started applying it! The formula was nice, a little on the thick side but very easy to work with. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
I'm Not A Cougar is orange, green, silver and holo glitter in a clear base. This one kind of screams Halloween to me! I'm loving the combo of glitter and the glitter payoff with this one. The formula was pretty thick but with how dense the glitter is it was expected, application wasn't too bad. I used 1 coat over OPI Baby It's Coal Outside.
I'm With The Bandana is a shimmery grey. This isn't my favorite color, it's just doesn't love my skin tone...but I'm sure some of you will really love it! The formula was nice, I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Imagine-sation is a dark vampy wine color. I actually thought this was brown until I started putting it on haha! The formula was not my favorite, it was pretty thick and it got a little gooey on the second coat. I think some thinner might help out with that though, I haven't tried it yet. I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Me, Myself & Me is silver, purple and red glitter! This one was a lot better in real life, the silver is going crazy in photos. The glitter payoff was pretty nuts with this, you could probably get it opaque on it's own in 2-3 coats. I used 1 coat over Seche Signature for the photos below.
Men-ipulation is black and white glitter in a clear base. Oh yes, I can never get enough of this color combo. I like that the black glitter is shards so it's a bit different than black & white glitters I already own. The formula was just okay, I felt like it was too heavy on the base and not heavy enough on the glitter so it was a little hard to get good glitter coverage. I used 1-ish coats over Seche Snapdragon for the photos below.
Miss Emo Shun All is a neon purple. I got this at the same time as a bought a few of the glitters in this post, it practically burned my eyeballs from the brightness in store so I had to have it. Once I got it on it was a little darker than I expected it to be but still very bright! The formula was really nice, usually shades like this are a pain so that was a welcome surprise. I used 2 coats for the photos below. This did dry a little bit matte, I used top coat in the photos.
Money Badger is green, gold white, orange and black in a clear base. I like this combo of glitter, it feels very fall to me! The formula was a little thick but easy to work with and the glitter coverage was great! I used 1 coat over OPI Brisbane Bronze for the photos below.
RV There Yet? is a green leaning teal creme. The formula was nice, a little thick but easy to apply. I had no staining with this, yay! I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Rock-A-Guy Blue is a gorgeous navy creme. This color is so beautiful, if you're looking for a great navy creme for Fall this is a great choice! The formula was really nice, I used 2 coats for the photos below.
Sation is available a bunch of places, you should be able to find them soon (if not already) at TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Winners stores. You can also find these online at etailers like Transdesign.com and direct from Miss Professional Nail (the company that makes Sation)

Great swatches! I love Sation!
ReplyDeleteThe silver giltter in Me Myself and Me is gorgeous, it reminds me of the micro glitter in Fergie New Years Kiss I am wearing now. I love the way it makes the nails look "bigger" if that makes sense. Also, my nails feel like iron with just one coat.
Also, the arrow on your index nail looks cool on the Men ipulation swatches. I am excited about those new glitters. The collection theme is brilliant.
I am not really a fan of purples normally, but Miss Emo Shun All is the second purple that I have been drawn to this week. I have never purchased Sation polished before, but might have to give them a try!
ReplyDeleteIs RV There Yet similar to OPI Fly?
ReplyDeleteI am so loving your spams. I don't have any Sations yet but I was so happy to hear that they were coming to TJ Maxx & Marshall's. I've already added my local stores to my "polish stalking route". Hopefully soon !!!!!!!!! Keep the spams coming. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen Station polishes in Canada, which is too bad. Rock-a-Guy blue is amazing! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!! Could you do a day where you post your nails with no polish?? My friend and I do that go a day with no polish sometimes. It's funny Bc ppl are always shocked lol
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I really love Money Badger and Rock-A-Guy Blue! :)
ReplyDeleteNever heard about that brand I love some of the polishes you showed tho :)

ReplyDeleteWow, I don't know how to pick a favorite out of this bunch! I am totally gonna to have to pick up some Sation polishes at TJ Maxx and Marshall's!!
ReplyDeleteThese colors are amazing. I need to add Confessions of a Nail Tech and Miss Emo Shun All to my wish list
ReplyDeleteThese are great, I really like several of them! I think my fave is Confessions of a Nail Tech.
ReplyDeleteSo many pretty colors!!! I'm loving I'm Not A Cougar for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteO.O Wow! These look awesome!!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw Miss Emo Shun All! LOVE retina searing purples!!! :D It brought to mind Color Club Disco Dress (one of my all time favorite retina searing purples!). Is MESA similar to Disco Dress? Even if it is...I think I totally need it for the name! Both DH and I were giggling about it, haaha! I also need the glitters! Men-ipulation, Calorie Countess, Confessions of a Nail Tech, I'm Not a Coiugar, Me Myself and Me, Money Badger...all of them look so great! :D Awesome swatches! Many thanks as always! <3 I will definitely be on the lookout for these at TJ Maxx!
ReplyDeleteI don't own that Color Club, I'm not sure how they compare unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Sation is person before. RV There Yet is calling me name ;)
