Hi guys! Today I have an indie polish from a new to me brand called Jindie Nails to share with you. I saw a photo of this somewhere, I think on Facebook and I HAD to have it. I posted a bottle shot on instagram the other day and a lot of people wanted to see this swatched (myself included of course lol)!
Candy Land is a milky white jelly-ish base full of different sizes of neon hex glitter. The formula was a bit tricky, it was a little patchy going on but with some patience and a few minutes between coats it was perfect at 3 coats! When this came in the mail there was a nice note on my order form from Jen (maker of Jindie Nails) saying that the glitter had a tendency to sink and to put the bottle upside down to redistribute the glitter. I let it sit upside down all night before I applied it. The glitter was easy to get out, I didn't have to fish for it or place it where I wanted it, that putting the bottle upside down trick is a real winner!
I believe this polish is sold out at the moment but it looks like it will be back once Jen gets the glitter back in stock according to the note in her etsy shop.
Jindie Nails is available on etsy, you can visit Jen's shop by clicking here, Candy Land retails for $8.75.

OMG! So beautiful !
ReplyDeleteAmei ! :)
Gorgeous!! Love neon glitter. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI have a few polishes that settle and the flip-upside-down trick is the best if you have time to wait. No crazy bubbles when you want to use it afterward because it will only need a bit of rolling, if that!
ReplyDeleteLovely polish, I'll check out the shop. =)
oh wow! this is so cool. the milky-ness of the base makes the glitter look like it's made of tissue paper or something.
ReplyDeleteSo so cute! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletei saw that in your review of china glaze's newest cirque collection you mentioned that you enjoy a lot of black and white glitters.
can i get a recommendation of a black polish with silver glitter? not the super finely milled glitter but with respectable chunks in them.
would be glad if you could help me out with this (: thanks!
too cute! <3
ReplyDeletehmm the only thing immediately coming to mind is Nubar Knights Armor but I'll keep thinking :)
ReplyDeleteamazing. i must get me some neon glitter.
ReplyDeleteOMG I LOVE this! So cute!
ReplyDeleteTo die for!! <3 Seems like white base with pastel/neon glitter is the next in thing, and I for one will willingly jump on the bandwagon. XD
ReplyDeleteoh so summefresh :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet. I love it.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cute!
ReplyDeleteCool polish!
ReplyDeleteThose nails are so cute! I love that polish.
ReplyDeletePretty - too bad it had some formula issues - but I find most things that are in a sheer jelly lighter shade base do that and I need 3 coats typically to get all that worked out. I am a HUGE sucker for this kind of look - the light shades with different hues of glitter...the sandwich in a bottle is very cool. I keep thinking the big name brands need to come out with this look - so far the only one I have seen try it is China Glaze in the new Cirque de Soli collection - but they did not use a base shade that I love in that one - I wish it was a soft creamy white or pinky white - it's kind of dirty looking what ChG released.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I, for some reason, didn't order this and I have no idea why not!
ReplyDeleteLooooooove it
ReplyDeleteThis is the second swatch I've seen of this polish and I'm pretty sure I need it!!! It's nice that Jen suggested turning the bottle upside down to get the glitter to come out right!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, looks like a party! :D
ReplyDeleteOPI Metallic 4 life?
ReplyDeletethat's a good one, I can't believe I didn't think of that one too!
ReplyDeleteJENNNNNNNNNNNNN stop it! I love this and need need need it!
ReplyDeleteohhh thank you so much!
ReplyDeletethanks for the suggestion (:
ReplyDeleteAnd I'll tell you, not only are her polishes beautiful, her customer service is amazing! She had a delay in shipping because of a barrage of orders and so she included a personal letter, discount code AND a free mini that hasn't been released yet in apology. So excited I discovered her shop a few weeks ago! You should check out Candy Cane & Noel out of the Christmas line, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love Metallic 4 Life!
ReplyDeleteThat's great to hear! I'll definitely check out the two polishes you mentioned also
ReplyDeleteabsolutely adorable! <3
ReplyDeleteLOVE this polish but it's out of stock for the moment. The website she redirects customers to at the moment has this for double the price. I'll wait. :)
