New piCture pOlish glitter swatches!

Hi guys! Happy Tuesday, hope all of you that live in the US and can vote are doing that today! I already voted via absentee a few weeks ago, I prefer voting that way because then I can take as long as I want to read up on the props and whatnot while I have the ballot in front of me. I'm sure I'll be glued to my tv tonight watching the results, I'll be so glad when this is all over.

Today I have 5 brand new piCture pOlish glitters to share with you guys, they just recently released them and I'm a bit in love! Hope you all love them as much as I do, you can see all the swatches after the jump!

All photos in this post are in the shade :)

Splash is gorgeous bright aqua blue glitter in a clear base. The formula was fantastic, it wasn't thick and application was a breeze. The glitter payoff was wonderful, I used 1 coat over Orly Smolder for the photos below.

Ariel's Tale is blue/green glitter in a clear base. I really like this one, it tends to look more blue or more green depending on your base color, I have it over a black/blue and it leans very green this way. I really love this for the name, Little Mermaid was like what I lived for when I was a kid haha. I was looking through photos the other day and came across one of me and some friends when I was like 6 or 7 and half of us were wearing Little Mermaid sweaters. The formula of the glitter was great, it was a little sparse on the glitter coverage so I used 2 coats over Essence Jacob's Protection for the photos below.

Gene Doll is a gorgeous mix of pink glitter in a clear base. I like this shade of pink, it leans a little towards purple and I don't think I have anything like it...at least not that I can think of off the top of my head. The formula was great, not thick at all. The glitter was a little sparse though. I used 2 coats over FingerPaints Midnight Sleigh Ride for the photos below.

Mardi Gras is a mix of silver, green and pink glitter in a clear base! Love this combo, it definitely says Mardi Gras to me, kudos to piCture pOlish for that! The formula was great and the glitter was super easy to get onto the nail! I used 1 coat over Essence Alice Had A Vision-Again for the photos below.

Ruby Blou is red, white and blue glitter in a clear base. Of the 5 new glitter piCture pOlish has given us this is my favorite, the mix of glitter is perfection! The formula and glitter payoff was great with this one! I used 1 coat over Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt for the photos below.

piCture pOlish can be found at a ton of etailers, mine came from the lovely Harlow & Co. For a full list of etailers you can check out http://www.picturepolish.com.au

Bonus photo: I got sucked into looking through photobucket again last night, here is that photo I was talking about before. I miss my childhood, and I kind of want a lunchable now.

I'm the wonderful child making a really lovely face because I was probably tired of my Mom taking a billion photos.

  8. OMG, total nostalgia. I had both the sweater and the sweatshirt. Are you around '87, too? I really like Ruby Blou, and I love the cute little phrases PIcture Polish puts on their bottles - it's the little touches.

  13. I love your combos on these. They are gorgeous glitters. A tiny bit off topic, but do you have the whole fingerpaints holiday collection for 2012 or just midnight sleigh ride? I have been looking for swatches or even pics of this collection for the last month and can't find anything!

  14. I only picked up Midnight Sleigh Ride, the rest of the collection was a lot like everything else we've seen this season so I passed on them
