Ninja Polish Holiday 2012 Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a good week so far, it's almost done yay! It feels like it should already be Friday. I actually thought it was Friday and was really excited because it means an extra half hour of sleep for me but then I realized nope...it's Thursday :(

Today I have the Holiday Collection from Ninja Polish to share with you guys! Ninja Polish just recently released 10 gorgeous shades for the holidays and I'm pretty much dying over the awesome. One of these is even in my 2012 Indie Favorites, wonder if you can guess which one!

Check out all the swatches by clicking the read more button below!

Candy Cane Floam is fine red and white matte glitter in a clear base. I love pretty much any kind of matte glitter, this is a great one. I love the color combo for the holidays! I'm thinking about doing another candy cane mani and using this in it somehow. The formula was great, not to thick and easy to apply when layering (I haven't worn this own so I can't speak to how it applies that way). I used 1 over of Candy Cane Floam over A England Tess D'ubervilles for the photos below.

Shade

Festive Floam is red, white & green matter glitter in a clear base. In love with this also, like I said before..I love all the matte glitters haha! Really nice formula again, it wasn't thick and it was easy to apply with great glitter payoff. I used 1 coat over LAQA&CO Greedy Guts for the photos below.

Shade

First Snow is tiny white glitter with pops of iridescent violet glitter in a clear base. I really love the little bits of purple glitter sprinkled in this, it adds that little something extra that catches your eye as you move you hands. I wore this over Essie Tart Deco and got a bunch of compliments on it (why I didn't take photos of that mani, I have no idea...sorry). The formula was great, it wasn't thick and applied easily. I used 1 coat over LCN Violet Amethyst.

Shade

Hanukkah Floam is bright blue matte glitter mixed with silver holographic glitter in a clear base. I love the sparkle of the silver holographic glitter in here, I think this may be the only floam that isn't all matte glitter? The formula was great, this looks awesome over a blue base also, that's how I wore it when I got it! I used 2 coats over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the photos below.

His Nose So Bright is bright red glitter with little bits of red holographic glitter mixed in. dude. I died a little when I put this on, it glows...even in the shade! If you like red glitters this is one you'll need to pick up! The formula was great, as was the glitter payoff! I used 1 coat over LCN Rubin Red for the photos below.

Melted Snowman is a mix of matte white hex glitter, black hex glitter and orange bar glitter in a shimmery base. The color combo of this is so spot on for the name, kudos to the girls over at Ninja Polish for that haha! I really love this one, the shimmery base is what makes it for me. The formula was a little tricky, I found the glitter to be a bit hard to get onto the brush. This is one that you'll want to put upside down for a few minutes before you use it so the glitter has a chance to redistribute in the bottle. I used 1 coat over A England Jane Eyre for the photos below.

No Peeking! is emerald green glitter mixed with gold, red and blue glitter and silver stars! This is like everything from a Christmas Tree smooshed into glitter form and put into a polish haha! This is so festive and fun, I really love it! The formula was nice, I think this would be easy to get opaque on its own. I did notice a little bit of curling with the blue square glitter but it's easily made smooth with a coat of top coat. I used 1 coat of No Peeking! over LCN Green Emerald for the photos below.

Shade

Sapphire Dreams is a vibrant blue metallic shimmer. I love this polish so much...I almost put that in all caps to get my point across but then I felt obnoxious! This is an easy favorite of the collection and the entire year from me. The shade of blue is just stunning and the shimmer is gorgeous. The formula was great, I used 2 coats for full opacity. This did not stain either!

Shade

Shattered Star is gold, silver and holographic glitter in a clear base. This sucker is super glitter packed, I only used 1 coat of it in my photos below and wow! You may see this again on the here, I'm not completely in love with my swatch so I'll probably be reswatching it when I get a chance. I used 1 coat over A England Beauty Never Fails for the photos below, both photos are in the shade.

Tree of Lights is fine green glitter mixed with holographic glitter. The green in this has a really gorgeous golden flash to it! I need to layer this over a dark green because I think it would be pretty awesome that way! I layered 2 coats of it over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for the photos below. The formula was great, it wasn't thick and the glitter payoff was wonderful!

The Ninja Polish Holiday 2012 Collection is available now at NinjaPolish.com each polish retails for $9. When I looked last night everything except for Festive Floam was in stock. Make sure you "like" Ninja Polish on Facebook to find out about re-stock times!

Aw when I saw the collage, I immediately though that the green one (any green) would be the one in your top 2012 list but you switched it up on me haha!

Love your swatches as always and some of these look awesome but...is it horrible to say I'm a little over the floam polishes? I feel they took away from the speshulness that was the original Floam. And I don't even have a bottle of it!

  4. Oooo, I've come to know too well. I guessed Sapphire Dreams was going to be the one you talked about! It is lovely though. Tree of Lights looks vey similar to CG Winter Holly. Is it? X

  8. I love that they named those glitters Floam because they really do look just like Floam! Children of the '90s right there haha

  9. I never really got into the original Floam, there's something about polishes with just tiny round glitter that doesn't really interest me. I don't know if that makes sense, but anytime I see a polish like this I just go "meh". Maybe if I saw them in person I'd change my mind. However, I could get behind Hanukkah Floam. Sapphire Dreams is of course gorgeous, also Shattered Star is intriguing. I don't have any Ninja Polish, but now I'll check them out!
