Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes I picked up from Elevation Polish to share with you. I heard about this indie a while back but I finally got around to ordering at the end of December. Elevation Polish is known for doing cremes, which in indie world seems to be somewhat of a rarity. Apparently I was in a very blue polish mood while shopping because all 3 I got are blue...I didn't realize that until these arrived at my door and I opened the package! Check out more photos after the jump.
Azure Caverns is a bright medium blue base with iridescent glitter and a gorgeous blue shimmer. I really like how much depth this had. Photos don't do justice to how gorgeous this was out in the sunlight, the blue shimmer is beautiful! The formula was good, a little sheer but it built up with no issues. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
Stay Behind, Catch A Wave is all different shades of blue circular glitter with pops of gold and white glitter in a slightly blue tinted base. I died a little when I saw this, it looked all kinds of fantastical on the Elevation Polish website but I don't think I was prepared for just how awesome it was in real life. I've been a bit obsessed with circular glitter since I tried
Whimsical Ideas by Pam Wicked, now thanks to this polish I've decided that I do in fact need all the circular glitter polishes in my life immediately. I can't even deal with how much I love this polish, it's a bit ridiculous you guys. The formula was great, as was the glitter payoff. I used 1 cover over Pic de Sotllo for the photos below.

Pic de Sotllo is a bright cobalt blue creme. This immediately caught my eye on the Elevation Polish website, it reminded me of my favorite....Baker Street. Pic de Sotllo is a few shades darker than Baker Street but just as vibrant and beautiful! The formula was nice and creamy, very easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the photos below, this did dry down to almost a satin matte finish so I used top coat for the photos.

I have to say, I am pretty impressed with these polishes much to the dismay of my wallet. Next time she restocks I'll be there waiting to buy everything lol! Huge rave for shipping from Elevation Polish too, I ordered very late on a Thursday and had a shipping notice when I woke up the next day and the polishes got to me on Monday...can't beat that! Elevation Polish is available at
ElevationPolish.BigCartel.com. prices range from $7.50-$10.

ReplyDeleteHey! I have been reading this blog for a few months now. You are the main reason why I am obsessed with nail polish. Thanks to you, I went from 0-102 nail polishes in less than 3 months! ;P Are you able to recommend certain nail polishes based on color? I am looking for the perfect light pink (without peach or tan undertones, more like a princess pink without shimmer), and the perfect light blue (not periwinkle) nail polish. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'd be kicking myself right about now if I missed out on those :P I'm hoping to get mine next week. Can't wait! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first too are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhen you posted the pic of the Pic de Sotllo with Catch a Wave on FB last week, I knew I had to have both poishes and I am soooo glad that I snatched them up! I've been wearing the combo since Wednesday night and I cannot stop looking at my nails!! And now, I can't wait for the pink circular glitter to be back in stock!!!
ReplyDeletehmm for the pink maybe something like Essie Figi or Essie Ballet Slippers? They do a lot of light pinks, I'm sure they have something that would be perfect for you! For light blues some of my favorites are Essie Borrowed & Blue, theBalm Sky Blue Right Past You!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendations. I have essie ballet slippers. Do you think that Zoya- Shelby would be a good light-ish pink polish? I am going to order Essie Borrowed and Blue right away, I have been eying it for a while! Again thanks for the suggestions!
ReplyDeleteI don't own Shelby so I'm not sure how it is in real life but it looks great in photos! Zoya is having a great promo right now so it would be the perfect time to buy it and try it out!
ReplyDeleteStay Behind, Catch a Wave on that blue creme looks like bubbles! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love Stay Behind, Catch a Wave! I don't think I have any polishes with only circular glitter...that'll have to change! ;)
ReplyDeleteI bet you're excited for Elevation Polishes coming soon polish Marmolada! =) I want it sooo bad.
ReplyDeleteI am!
ReplyDeleteOmg, that circular glitter. I flailed around like one of those big wavy arm things you see outside of car dealerships when I saw that photo. I can't even handle it.
ReplyDeleteLOL what a mental picture you just painted! I hope you can get a bottle of this, imagine the flailing one you see it in real life!
